I don't really know where to post this so I picked "off topic". First of all I want to thank everyone who has been so very loyal and patient with me during this terrible month of May. My May continues to get worse and worse :( -- but I did want to give everyone an update. Yorkie Yummies are going out tonight with an extra 25% as my way of saying thank you. I have a couple of samples that I overlooked that are going out as well.

I have a few harnesses that I expect to finish up tomorrow so if you have ordered a harness from me it should go out tomorrow.

Here goes with my May, so everyone get out your crying rag. First my grinder broke, then I lost my sweet little Dumplin' and her foal to a tragic bad birthing. Last week we learned that our Boxer has a very serious heart condition and this morning I woke up with a "catch" in my back. And to make matters worse, my home has been invaded by ants -- so I am considering moving (not really). :( If anyone else has any troubles, just send them on down to me and I'll carry them for you, what's a few more. I know that all happens for a reason, maybe this has happened to humble me so that I would appreciate my YorkieTalk family more.

I am finishing up a 13 year career with the local school system as an Instructional Parapro and will be devoting myself full time to being a Yorkie Mom, Wife and Seamstress. I am working on getting my website up and going -- it will be piecemeal - but nice.

Again, thank you for your patience -- :). I am going to be going strong in a couple of weeks, so if anyone has anything they'd like to see from my corner of the world, please feel free to pm me with ideas.... Jenn I've got YOU covered -- your project is #1 on my todo list :)

AWW patty I am so sorry for all your troubles . I hate them ants we had some earlier when it wouldn't stop raining. So sorry for the loss of Dumplin and her foal. I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.and oh you need a big Ole Yorkie Talk Hug:ghug:

Oh Cindy!! It's so sad to hear about your horses, and I pray that your boxer will be okay with treatment. And I'm sorry you're having such a hard month...It's almost over! Your YT family is here for you! Keep your chin up, you are an awesome lady, and you can get through anything. It sounds like you've been very strong through everything. Hugs from the furbabies!!

The Van would be uncomfortable, have you tried boric acid? That helps us.

I'll try anything at this point.... I put some liquid "poison" out on my counter, and they are all beefed up and looking like they have been on ant steroids. :eek:

OMG that is funny sorry. I shouldn't laugh but MG ant's on steroids... to funny. the boric acid you can get at the doller store. It comes in a plastic bottle it is a powder may say roach and ant killer. just follow the directions on the bottle. and good luck. mine come back every year but we get rid of them with just the boric acid

Let me know when you get a site going or when you get a list of goodies....I am still wanting a napsak and a few other goodies...I just never know what you have. BUT you know me...I am never in any hurry on anything.

ANTS....YUCK! Have you put out those yard granules? We do that several times throughout the year - it helps with ants, ticks, fleas, spiders, etc. Also, my DH uses something in a sprayer pump around the house. I heard that you can draw chaulk lines around where ants are coming in and they will not cross it. I read that on a dog site about dog food bowls outside...have never tired it. We also fog/bomb the house about every 2-3 months - just because- I hate any creepy crawly thing in the house. You might do that once and see if it helps.

Ahhhh...bless your heart, Cindy. I'm so sorry to hear about your horses...what a heartbreaker...and your boxer...I'll pray for him! The ants...I don't know what to suggest there. You can always come here and spend a month or two! No ants in here so far! I CAN relate to your kink in your back. I also have that...my neck, shoulder, back, armpit and even my chest hurt...guess I pulled a muscle on Saturday. Ugh. Hugs to you!!! I'll pray for your days ahead to be better! Maddie and Libby send lots of kisses!!!

So sorry about your recent tragedies and disappointments. I hate to hear when folks are under what I call "multiple siege." :eek: Know that others empathize. I had a six-month stretch that I think is finally easing up -- but don't want to jinx myself. :)

Insane how any one of those things would be enough to manage, but you get them ALL instead. Chin up and hang in there! Good juju headed your way.:)

You know..... I hesitated to post my "pity party" but I have felt so guilty about all of those doggies waiting for the postman to deliver their "fix" and others waiting for harnesses. I am not a whiner and complainer and you are 100% right -- I do have the GOOD JUJU -- it is being reminded what a wonderful supportive group of people reside at YorkieTalk.

Cindy, I am soooo sorry about everything that's going wrong!! When everything gets "turned back around", let me know and Toto and I will zip over to Rome and we'll compare notes and laugh until our sides ache!!! :p This too shall pass, my friend!!
