?what Would You Wish For
 
Was wondering if you had one wish that could come true, what would you wish for? I made a wish today for myself and praying that it comes to be. God has answered many of my prayers, wishes I don't know about that yet :) but I sure am praying about this one.

I asked this question today, as it is our 51 st wedding anniversary and Jack has forgot it, never ever would he forget and I don't have the heart to say anything to him, inside I am crying and part of me wants to tell him but I am waiting to see if he remembers. It is so scarey for me as I am reminded that Parkinsons and Alzheimers are in the same family.

I'm so sorry that you are suffering. It it has to be terrible to watch a loved one go thrugh that.

This is an easy one...a cure for diabetes..you can have all the money in the world but what good is it if your ill....

My wish (and I'm praying everyday for it) is that my daughter and her boyfriend get back together.
He broke up with her 2 weeks ago after a 6 yr relationship because he's not sure if he wants to ever get married and he knows she does. Her heart is just breaking.

As I have gotten through this special day God has reminded me that the important thing is not that Jack forgot but that he is still with me, that I am forever thankful. I couldn't vision my life without him.

In closing all I want to say is treasure each and every anniversary because one never knows what is around the bend in lifes road. I am thankful to the Lord for being here for me through all things in life we at times must endure.

Blowry I pray your wish comes true.

I wish as I pray everyday for the physical and spiritual healing of my two grown children. I claim it every day of my life...and thank you for this thread. Bless the hearts of all who are hurting. Happy anniversary to you BabyBlessing, that's a whole lotta years of happiness.

That was so sweet of you to be thinking of others on this day...I forgot to wish you and your husband a ..." Happy Anniversary! ".....I do believe we tend to go through our lives set on automatic...most things are taken for granted, until it's gone...It's my son & husband that have the diabetes...when your faced w/ an illness everyday your priorities change & I try to have more of a sense of humor now.... I let the unimportant annoyances slide..that kinda explains my signature...I hope things smooth out for you also....Barbara

My wish would be for my son and DIL to have a child. It's been 10yrs
and everything possible has been done and no baby. When there is no
medical reason it's hard to accept. My heart breaks for them. Everytime
I read that a baby is found abandoned or beaten it drives me up a wall
why these children are given to parents who do not want them.
Time is running out for them because she just turned 40, very heartbreaking.

That is heartbreaking...it just doesn't make sense when all these teens are having babies & then there's people who are ready, willing & wanting a baby so much & it doesn't happen...I feel really bad for you family having to endure this everyday..it must be bitter-sweet when some else in the family has to announce the upcoming birth of a baby...it's so sad...thinking good thoughts for your family....:hands:

Thank your so very much. Yes, it has happend already. My daughter
and DIL both went through artificial insemination and then invetro.
Thank heavens it worked for my daughter but not my DIL. She held
up very good for my daughter but I know she was dying inside and it
was killing all of us. She loves all the kids and does everything with them
it just is not fair but that's life I guess. It;s just so sad.

I agree one wish definately isn't enough, I will be praying along with you for your eldest son to be cancer free. God has your Dad in his keeping, life is just like a whisper or the blink of the eye, it flashes by so quickly and we stop and wonder where all the years have gone ( so it seems to be to us)however, we know who holds all of our tomorrows and he will guide us through what ever comes ones way.
