Awww, those are perfect! And the snowglobe is awesome. I used to collect snowglobes. They are so calming to watch. She is going to love them.:)

I spoke with Krysten and she had gotten a couple cards and a pin which she loves. Her spirits were better, considering I had spent close to an hour on the phone with her a few nites ago while she just cried. I didn't know that she was also not getting paid for her nanny job and the people she is staying with are fighting. She has been getting migraines from her meds and the stress and can't go to the Dr's because she is so broke. Nobody will accept her insurance down there so she can't get her med's adjusted or changed. She can't get another job or she loses her place to stay. I offered to send some money but she refused (which was good for me, because at the moment there is nothing to send). She wants to do this on her own. She called he brother who owes her Big Time for standing her up once and calling her once to see if she would pick him up from whereever he was and help him go find his Hummer. That happen's alot on golfing vacations, lol. He told her to just tell him what she wants for grad. and it's hers. So she asked to borrow some $. But she wouldn't give an amount. So he is sending her some today. She can't even pay for her cap and gown. She has to stay after grad. for a couple weeks to get the enrollment in college done, then she can come home, hopefully. Meanwhile, her struggle continues, but the cards are helping. Thank you, all.

Awwww.....tell that girl things WILL get better !!! She should have received my card by now and I hope it helped cheer her up. I don't understand why if she has insurance it's not being accepted ?? Can she do a walk in to the ER and get treated ???

I made her a card on Sunday and mailed it out yesterday. I had such fun making it!

V-the card you sent came here and I am sending it on to her. The first time at the ER, they were extremely rude and told her not to come back. She did go back to a different ER, but is being charged full price. She had a concussion from running into a wall face first (she was playing tag with the kids and had looked back and when she turned around - WHAM! Somebody had moved the wall closer than she thought). Her ins. is Aetna and BC/BS is the going one down there. One Dr. used Aetna, but it only paid $10.00. So, I have a ton of bills from there. This is Myrtle Beach and it's all about money. There are soooooo many illegal aliens there and they go to the ER for free. So the ER has to make up the money in other ways. I'm also sure that because she is 18 and on her own, and it is a college town, and drugs are out of control, that Dr.'s assume every young person that comes in w/o a parent is after self medication prescriptions. I was amazed at the horrible treatment that we and others I knew received while we lived there. I could relate a few horror stories, and I know they are true because I was there. So, I believe everything she says. Anyway, I things will get better, if only because they can't get much worse ;) . Yep, we have to keep a sense of humor about it. That's the best way. Forgot to add-the Dr.s just refuse to work with the ins. co. (Aetna). We have to do our own submission and deal with the company. In the meantime, they want money up front, or they won't see you.

oh wow. Aetna is great insurance usually... That just sucks...so they want the money up front then they reimburse ?? That isn't fair when they can easily check the policy. I never had that problem when I had Aetna (6 years ago) and I'm sorry she's going thru so much......and MAN Am I just dumb lately or what ?? I sent it to you ???? Add one more for my 'Moron Chart' I'm keeping on myself....lately I've been very forgetful and sorry about that !
