I need everyones opinion- BEST digital Camera? - YorkieTalk.com Forums

I'm in the market for a new digital camera. One that'll last and take great pics. I'm a picture MANIAC!
So I want the best I can get for under 200.00- obviously not TOP OF THE LINE... but what do you think my best bet is for that price and under?
Anyone have a camera they LOVE?

I would def. say Canon brand and Olympus

The only kind of camera I will ever buy is a Canon. That's what I have now and I swear they are the BEST cameras. Granted I paid over $400 for mine almost 3 years ago

but Canon is a GREAT brand and they take AWESOME pictures! I swear I have dropped that thing a MILLION times (once from VERY high up - on stadium bleachers) and the thing STILL works!

LOVE my Canon!

I have the Canon PowerShot S45

QVC had a Fuji 7.3 megpixal 3X optical zoom for under $150 yesterday. I started to buy it because it was such a good deal.LOL Loooked like a great camera. If you are looking for a larger zoom I have a Fuji with a 10x optical zoom and it sells for around $220.

I've had an Olympus and I currently have a Cannon. Cannon is much much better, in my opinion. And just FYI, the Cannon photo printer is the best! (Esp if you use either Cannon or Epson photo paper). The prints look like "normal" photographs. I don't remember which camera I have - one of the powershot ones, 5.0 megapixels. And the printer is the PIXMA. Good luck in your search!
