What was your nickname when you were little? I just saw a post on another thread about a childhood nickname and was thinking back to what daddy called me when i was at home. I was "Slim" (if he could only see me now!) & my sister was Tiger. My Granddaughter was called "Crunchy" when she was a baby & my sister's daughter is "Tweets". Anyone else? |

LOL Gert - that's a good question you should ask him where it came from I was La-La... partly cause my brother couldn't say my name & I think partly cause I was always in Lala land :) |
I forgot...I've already started a nick name for my GD it's, "Bug" or "Baby Bug" she got that when she was about two & I still call her that & she's now 11...I started calling her that because she was so small...like a little bug :) |

I know of this girl who was always hungry...always saying "I hungry" to people, so people joked that she must have tapeworms, so her nickname was...."Worm"...she never new it was her name, but everyone else did :D |
I should have put all these posts in one, but this subject brings up a lot of memories....some I can't say....isn't if awful how we may have an incident happen to us when we're little & a horrible nickname will follow you for the rest of your life.... like if you poop your pants you known for the rest of your life as "Stinky" or "Sh**ty"....or I know of another girl from way back & she was well endowed, so she got the nickname "T*ts" for many years..I never called her that though... |
my nicknames my grandpa gave me was maltrisha my name is malissa so i'm not exactly sure why he called me this but it's what he called me my parents called me monkey cause I love to climb trees and was a really big tom-boy |
My daddy called me "punkin' lil" because my head and butt looked like a pumpkin when I was a baby :) He still calls me that 31 years later~ |
When my mothers was pg for me, my dad wanted a son since they already had my sister. So he started calling me -----, which is a boys name, and to this day all my realitives call me -----. My boys thinks it's so funny to hear. Oh well.:rolleyes: |

One of my mom's friends used to call me "Master Kyle" And my Grandma used to call me "Rooster" :) There are a few others but I can't think of them for some reason. |
My mom called me Ickabod & squirt. Ickabod is a play on my real name & squirt cause i was little. |
I was Nickerdoodle and Pickle head! I really loved pickles as a child and the Nickerdoodle, wow who knows! |
My dad called me "cakey" and "pudding time"..I think cuz I loved chocolate pudding! Oh and Morgie, which I'm still called today sometimes. This is really funny though: When my sister Courtney was born, my grandpa thought her name was "Corkey" so always called her that! :lol tears |
Ok, NONE of you will understand this name and EVERYONE will think it's weird LOL...but my sister called my cousin and I Skunnysputty - LOL don't ask :D My brother called me Squirt because I was always so little, and of course everyone called me "Brookie" :p Oh and when I was born, my dad called me his Little Red Corvette because he loved Red Corvettes so much, and he loved me :) Isn't that sweet :hearts6: |
Different relatives had names for me: Marblehead, Cactus, GoGo - those I remember. Krysten had her own name she made up and would throw a tantrum in day care if someone tried to tell her any different: Krysten Punkinseed Slimebucket. Her daddy called her punkinseed, no clue where the slimebucket came from but she eventually agreed to put her middle name at the end of her last name. Other kids were: Bug, Stumpjumper, Sparkplug. |
I don't recall any, my mom had a boyfriend who called me Squirt. My high school friends called me Nit Whit **it!! I call my girls Roo-Roo or Roo and Panda Bear |
My dad called me (and still does) Baby Bumble Bee. My sister called me Jay, Jenny Penny and (I will never understand this one LOL) Chick-a-mick-girl! :D |

don't remember that i had any nicknames as a kid but my youngest son was "wheezer" or "beeper". those were both from his big brother. One of my grandaughters is Gracie Goose and the other is Nickle Pickle. Since she is 9 now we have been told to stop that one. |

I got stuck w/ Jenny growing up...but I was also Daddy's Girl, Little Bit and there were others....As I got older, I was Hot Wheels, the Blur and others. (hee,hee) My daughter was always Katiebug! |
My Dad called me Bill. I was the youngest of six, and he'd always confuse our names when he was mad at us. "Bill, Ray, Bob, MIKE!" Mom called me Mike-a-Babe because I was her youngest. Good thread! |
