Maya had the 8 hour test on Monday her 10th birthday. When I went to pick her up the vet wanted to talk to me. She said they noticed he whole neck was badly bruised. I said the only thing I could think of was that last week she had her heartworm test done at the regulat vet and when the tech brought her back the vet noticed she was bleeding on her neck/throat area. He said thats where they took the blood for the heatworm test. He cleaned it up and I never really thouht about ir again. The dermatologist was relieved to hear that as they couldn't figure out why she was so bruised. She also mentioned that the blood draw they did on her foot was bruising now as well. So they did a clotting test on her to see why she is brusing so bad. She is losing more hair and I feel so bad for her. She has some symptoms of the cushings but I hope this test will help determine what is wrong with her. I have to wait until next week to get some results. |
