I am so sorry to hear this! I'm a university NURSING student and I can 100% assure you that MOST of the people in my class would NOT have stopped. I definitely would have, but that's just me. What's with the world these days? I feel your pain. Living in Canada with all the ice in the winter time, I've fallen and been laughed at WAY too many times. |
Im sorry no one asked if you were ok, but I'm not surprised. these days some people just dont care. it is sad. I'm glad your ok except for your boo boo's |
Hi, I'm so sorry you fell :( and even more sorry that people are beyond ignorant. When I was in college I was always amazed by how rude my fellow students were. Absolutely no respect for anyone or themselves. I can asure you that I would have definately stopped and I am glad that your ok. :) |
I hope your okay, its appauling to read that people actually saw you fall and didnt help you. Whats wrong with people these days? I hope your knees heal quickly, and I hope that these same people who laughed at you experience the same humiliation they showed you. Karma you know....What goes around comes around or visa versa. |
such a shame Quote:
Glad you did not incur much damage (funny how the pants never rip but the knees get scraped) .... I bet if there had been ONE YTer there, someone would have helped you up ... (guess who? The YTer, of course) |
so sorry i have also fallen, and no help was offered, but i really wasn't hurt, more just embarrassed. but still a kind gesture would have been nice. i bet if there was a yorkie there it would have come to your rescue, they have a keen sense of knowing when someone is or hurt not feeling well.:D :aimeeyork |
I'm sorry that happened to you. I really don't understand people sometimes. I would have stopped and helped you. I have a sister that would have helped you up, taken you to your car and driven you home if you needed it. Don't let it get you down. |
What the hell is with people..........Unbelievable..........:( I sure do hope Kimberly you will not be too sore.............. |
Glad you're OK. I would have stopped and let Eddie and Jack lick your face. |

Thank you all for your well wishes and kind words :) It made my morning~ |
I'm so sorry you fell and even more sorry that no one stopped to help. It's pathetic! Where's the human compassion? You'd think one of those students would have been taught while growing up to show concern and care for someone in need. Shame on all of them! Big hugs to you! I hope you're not too sore today! |
I am so sorry you fell and injured both knees and no one had the common courtesy to offer you a helping hand! It is pretty sad when one human being cannot offer assistance to another human being when in need! What happened to compassion? Sad and scary at the same time. Hope your feeling better and heal nicely. |
oh I hope it wasn't a bad fall :( but that sure is dissapointing to hear no one even took the time to ask if you were okay :( |
people these days could care less about anyone else but themselves it seems . i worked at a store once where a man had fallen he had low blood sugar or something and i picked him up or helped him and sat him down for awhile and kept asking him whats wrong and if he would be ok he said he just needed to get something to eat other people were just looking at him like hes some big clumsy oaf! i have seen things happen that just make me steam and want to smack the well you know outta someone its very dishearting to see they way people act towards others these days! |
I too am sorry that you fell and no one offered help. I do hope you heal quickly. I would like to say, unfortunatly with all the jerks around now days that some people have taught their children to walk by instead of helping. Your case is different. I am sure they knew you didnt pose a threat, but with so many people using techniques like these to kidnap people I am not surprised people go about their business instead of stopping to see if they can help. I am partially guilty. A man outside the grocery store one day had dropped a bag on the ground and his groceries fell out. He was older and looked embarassed about it. I did go over and help him, but I must say it took me a minute to do so and I was nervous the whole time. Watching around to make sure another vehicle didnt drive by and grab me.....you know like he was a decoy or something. Obviously nothing happend to me and I was a bit ashamed of myself afterwards. But you never can be too careful. |
