Hello YT'er
About two weeks ago i was over my mother in-laws house. I walked to
the back yard to go pay with her pit-bull. Then i started to hear a puppy
cry and did not know were it was coming from, when i started to get closer to the wall it started getting louder and louder so i looked over the wall:eek: (yes i was being very curies) :rolleyes: I saw this little durty durty puppy by it self i was so mad :mad: i asked my mother in-law if she knew that there
was a small pup all by it self. My mother in-law said, yes it been crying for days but i cant see my self at the neighbors house to asking or say anything..So i was not going to leave the puppy there so i when over the neighbors house knocked on the door, when the lady open the door i introduced my self and asked her about the puppy, she said, Oh one of my dogs had a puppy and there's no more room in my house for another dog..I was so upset when she said that :mad: i could have pulled her hair out but i keeped my cool..Then i asked well how many dogs do u have, she said 10
and there not spayed so they keep having puppy..Then i said well would you
mind if i took the pup she said, no go rigth ahead i dont want it..I was so
upset i picked up the puppy and left..Well we took it to the vet rigth away
and got her check..The vet said if she would have been out there for 3
more day she would have died..She was full of fleas and thicks and was really under weight:(..Well now she is about 6weeks and gaining lots of weight
but whe dont know what breed she is:confused:..I wont be able to keep forever :( im only going to keep her till shes ready to go to a new loving home but This is were i need your on trying to find out what type of breed

That is so heartbreaking! She sure is a lucky little girl to have found you :) I'm not very good at guessing breeds but whatever she is she sure is adorable!

Maybe a little golden retriever, or yellow lab.

YOU ROCK !! GOOD for you and that is an adorable little puppy - that woman needs to have her dogs spayed/neutered so this doesn't happen again - what is WRONG with people !! That makes me so mad

That is so mean of that woman. I'm so glad you took care of that puppy. It looks like a Chihuahua to me but I could be wrong, it looks a little bigger than a chihuahua should be at 6 wks old. Maybe it is mixed? Or maybe you can go back to the lady and ask her what breed the mother and dad are? I wouldn't wanna talk to her after that but just to know the breed...

I'm so glad you took that puppy! Seriously, that woman needs to spay/neuter her dogs or keep them separated when the females are in heat at the very least. I'm sure the puppy will go to a wonderful home, now that you have her, but I have no clue what breed she is. She's very cute though!

What a wondeful thing you did for that poor baby. The owner should be reported to the county.

What a great person you are for saving this little puppy. Looks to me by the ears and shape of head that it could have some beagle in it. I would check with the lady just to see.

What a nice person you were to help her out that way. I have no idea what breed she is, but she sure is cute.

Some people are so cruel to animals. I remind my dogs everyday how lucky they are to be so darn spoiled. I would love to travel in coach bags, and wear coach collars and have people tell me how cute I am everywhere I go.

Well whatever she is she is super cute. She looks like part Chihuahua part lab HAHA. If that is even possible. She is so lucky that you saved her! Now she will be able to have a happy life like she deserves!

What a wonderful careing person you are for saving that babies life. If that lady is living inside the city limits, then she's only allowed three dogs. Report her if she is. I'd also alert the sheriff and the animal shelter about what happen.

I just could not find it in my heart to just leave her there...I will be going to
the ladys house sometime next week to ask her what breed she is...But
you better belive that after i get the info. ill be calling the city...

She's so soft and sweet. I'm so glad you took her. She looks nice and healthy too.

I can't imagine what goes on in some people's minds - how do you just abandon a living thing like that? It's so great that you came along.

Good on you for helping this little one, i think there is def a bit of lab in there but what else is anyones guess.

She looks beautiful.Thank goodness you were there to help her.I am not
familiar with the laws in the US.Is it legal to have 10 dogs residing in a home?
Where I live,it is against the law to have more than two dogs residing in a home within the city center.Is there an agency that could intervene to protect the welfare of the other dogs in her home?

I think that the limit is 3 here but i will call the city to make sure but i
will be calling someone 4sure..I just spoke with my mother-in-law and
she has told me that none of her dog have ever been to a vet before
and that they look like they havent showered in years...That there makes
me so angry :mad: I just dont understand why she has dogs for :confused:

What breed mix did the vet think? I'm guessing it's a mutt mix within a mutt mix within a mutt mix, based on all the dogs you said she had and nobody is fixed. Looks part lab/retriever/sheppard maybe? I'm guessing she's on the small side from lack of nutrition and care. Poor baby. I have to be careful or I'd have a house full of dogs too. You are very special to take that puppy in, thank you.

She's definitely a member of the "So very lucky a YT member found her" family. My first thought was lab or lab mix, but not really sure because of the size. Whatever she is, she is adorable. BTW - some of the best - smartest - healthiest dogs I've ever had were from the Heinz 57 family. I never knew their heritage and could only guess at it. I'm sure you'll see that she never knows lonliness or hunger again. As far as my thoughts on how that woman takes care of her dogs - it's better left unsaid:mad: . God Bless you both.:)

well that person should be reported to someone! hoarders start with just a few animals but they keep having babies if she cannot afford to be responsible she shouldnt have them but the animals and possibly the people need help! that pups lucky you were there and did something BUT if they have 10 dogs theres no telling how many pups there has been or will be!
