I'd be bathing that poor baby to make her feel better. I think she has cataracts and probably doesn't see well either. I'm wondering if she didn't wonder away from her home and couldn't find her way back. Put out some flyers and call all the Vets. in and around your area to see if anyone lost her. I wouldn't take that poor girl to any shelter. Given her age, she will most likely sit in a cold cell for a long time and she could get kennel cough, and in her condition, that would be bad news for her. Call the Begal rescue if no one claims her. They will take care of all her medical and find her the right home.

I have such a soft spot for beagles. We had one for 13 years and he was a wonderful pet. I wonder if some amateur tried to take her hunting and she got separated from him or her. I hope the beagle rescue group will take her. Thank you so much for taking care of her and please thank your husband and son for saving her. They are great thoughtful men!

Hubby just came in from feeding the Beagle and shes up and wagging her tail. Im so happy, she was following him around the garage. its not much but its a start. Im sure she will turn out to be a very loving dog, with a lot of TLC.

Your hubby is an angel! How frightened and alone she must have been. Beagel's are such a loving sweet breed. Maybe hubby will fall in love with her and keep her to hunt with him. They of course love to hunt. Well if that dosen't work out I do hope you find a loving home for her soon. I am certain you would not settle for anything less. I have a feeling you are going to wind up keeping her. Bless both of you for being caring people and loving animals they way you do.
