American Idol?! Can you believe who got kicked off? What is wrong with this show? There is a website called votefortheworst.com & they are power voting for Sanjaya. This is ridiculous.:eek: I heard that Simon said he would quit the show if Sanjaya won. What does everyone else think of Sanjaya?? |
I'm just not excited about this season... Don't really have a favorite and I'm not too into it like in the past. Sanjaya.... He shouldn't have even gotten to the top 12! What the heck? I just don't see the appeal in him... |
I'm sorry but, I am being brutally honest here when I say - that Sanjaya is a big JOKE! :rolleyes: I mean COME ON - my 12 year old nephew can sing better than him :rolleyes: Last night he was doing nothing but bouncing around on stage acting like some nut, screaming into the mic - not a single word in tune! Votefortheworst.com is DEFINITELY keeping him in (I have been saying that all along), and it's sad because other people who REALLY have a voice get kicked off because of stupid web sites like this that BEG people to vote and keep the crappy ones in for nothing more than a good laugh :thumbdown He seems like a nice enough kid (a little "fruity", but nice - LOL) but he is seriously taking up a space in the top 12 that he doesn't deserve. HE CAN'T SING. And the last I checked, this WAS a singing competition, not a comedy stage! :rolleyes: |
I think this year isnt as good as all the others years, But i cant believe who got kicked off, The fact that sanjaya is still there is a complete Joke ... he cant sing AT ALL, its just crazy !!! BLAH .... those are my thoughts LOL |
AAARRRRRRG! I keep missing the elimanation nights and then have to play guess who's not here here the next week! AAAARRRRRRRG! Who got kicked off? Please tell me...I have to say that I have said several times that if Sanjaya was back the following week I would just puke! One word why Sanjaya is still on: Teenybopper! And Stephanie Edwards got voted off. I heard, not sure how true it is, that the "powers that be" (despite America voting) wanted to keep Sanjaya around until the final 10 - they are the ones that tour - for the appeal to a younger female crowd at their performances. And I too heard Simon would leave if he won - guess we'll see! I hope he's gone next week!!! |
I use to love this show but this season is just not doing it for me and I could care less if I see it or not. Thats so sad, I use to just love watching it, but it's the same ol same ol! |
Do you know WHY Sanjaya is still on? It's b/c of the huge influence VoteForTheWost.com www.votefortheworst.com is having on this show. It's terrible. I was so sad to see Stephanie go home last night and Sanjaya stay on. (At home, we have been calling him Sanjina...) Have you guys seen votefortheworst? What are your thoughts on that website and its influence? |

I also heard that Howard Stern is telling everyone on his show to vote for Sanjaya.. and it seems to be working..there is something on his site about it. It doesn't come right out and tell you what they are doing it gives advise on how to vote and the example used is Sanjayas number only. |

This used to be my favorite show but this season is pretty much sucking! A ton of good people aren't being voted through, but not so good ones are because they are "pretty" or because of that stupid website. I wish they would start doing the voting different...kindof like Dancing with the Stars does where the judges vote counts for half, that way maybe some people that should still be around would be. |
I never knew about the votefortheworst.com. But here's what I will say about Sanjaya. First, let me say, he SHOULD be the one going home. The thing is, he CAN sing. For some reason, he DOESN'T. He has a good voice, but for some reason, I cannot figure out, he keeps singing all gently and wimp-azz. If he'd take a deep breath and belt it out, he could do a good job. Unfortunately, he's half-baked. Maybe in a few years, when his internal temperature reaches "done" then he can do it. But I agree, he needs to go! fwiw, |
I personally think the show has become a joke the last few years it's more than obvious that the show is riged half the votes don't even count and them you have sites like votefortheworst.com that fuel the fire to these people who want to make it a joke. With out that website sorry to say but Mr. soul patrol wouldn't have won last year. now i didn't really care for stephanie but sangya(sp) is not worthy of even being in the top 50 it is all about ratings did you all notice when it was his turn to be judged that Simon didn't really say anything like he was told to bite his tounge? I think a lot of the time what he says goes and he made it ok and helped Sangya stay. this show has become a crock!:mad: :thumbdown |

I agree with all of you. I loved this show and why anyone would want to hurt innocent young people who are trying hard to break into the business is just plain cruel! I hope Simon Cowell can do something about it before it goes any further. Sue the pants of the pig Howard Stern would be a start. He's a disgrace to society anyhow! If he hates Simon than go after Simon not these poor kids who are trying so hard to get ahead. I feel so bad for the contestants. As far as Sanjaya (s) he has to be embarrased to be still be there. He is awful! Poor Stephanie! She was awsome. |

I think it's rigged. There were 2 or 3 boys that should of gone home before any of the girls. But a girl went home & kept the numbers even, ummmm, makes you wonder doesn't it. I'm sad to see Stephanie go, but lately it seems like she doesn't wanna be there. Her first & second performances were amazing, but lately she picks bad songs & looks very uncomfortable on stage. Like Tues. night she looked like they were playing the song in a different key then what she'd practiced. And maybe they did, maybe it's fixed all around. |

Well, Sanjaya never should have gotten through the screenings before the voting ever started. I don't know if that one backfired on Simon who is the producer and Sanjaya got through to be annoying. Peter Noone, on the Tues night when the auditions were on, said that this was not a singing contest anyway but a voting contest. The look on Simon's face had the look that Simon did not like that comment at all. LOL I think Peter is right from last night results. I was hoping that was the last of Sanjaya but unfortunately he is still there and still thinks he can sing. |
