| Need the Fort Lauderdale people!! I am going to Fort Lauderdale this weekend to do some shopping and was wondering if any one here who lives there could give me an idea on some places to stay that are dog friendly and near Las Olas Blvd. Thanks!

| I'm from Coral Springs (close to Ft. Lauderdale) but back then I didn't have Mr. Biggs yet, so I didn't have to stay in dog friendly hotels. BUT.. If you go to www.hotels.com you can do a search for the dog friendly hotels. Oh the last time I went back home (during christmas time) I went down to Las Olas Boulevard and they have the cutest dog boutique called Herringbone and Hound. It's on the expensive side, but everything is just so cute and they have so much stuff! Also, if you go to the back of the store, they have a little dog bakery. The only drawback is that only one of the resturants lets you eat outside with your dog. If you ask around, they'll point you in the right direction. Oh, you can also go to LasOlasBoulevard.com and see if they say anything about hotels there

| I did the hotels.com and found a few. Thanks! Looks like everything is booked up mostly because of the art festival going on this weekend - oh well we are just staying at the LaQuinta which is about 20 minutes away. Yes I have been to Herringbone and Hound - I LOVE IT!! IT is the best little doggie boutique I have ever been to. They have TONS of stuff and super cute. I agree with you though a little pricey for sure. It is definitely on our list of places to visit this weekend. I never knew there was a restaurant where we could bring the dogs to. I will have to ask around. Thanks for that information too.

| Glad I could help! Oh, and if you plan to go to South Beach (which I definately recommend) you can eat at almost all of the resturants w/ your furbaby! And I think there's also a doggie boutique down there too (which probably isn't a good thing. lol) Hope you have fun!! Take lots of pics for all of us to see! hmm... I think I'm starting to get a bit homesick now lol.
