Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I have an elliptical, the brand is Proform, I think, but it's almost identical to that one in the picture. Personally, I like it very much. You can burn a lot of calories and it does not get you tired too soon; it's more fun that other cardio equipment. Also, the legs and butt get tighter pretty fast! I would get it! |

| I would love to get an elliptical. It definitely takes the pressure off the knees. I currently have a treadmill at home and go to the gym to use the other machines.

| I have an elliptical, weight bench and a total Body XL which I love and use more than anything else since I can do weights as well as cardio in one. I love it!

| We don't have the NordicTrak one, but rather the Proform - which was $400 cheaper and delivered free - yet other than the brand exactly the same as the Nordic Trak!!! LOVE IT!!!! It "folds" fairly compact and moves easily.

| Wow! Thanks you guys! Can either of you tell me which proform you use? http://www.proform.com/webapp/wcs/st...dkey=ClickInfo I will compare and I think you've convinced me that I will indeed like one of these!! I do have low back problems and sometimes my knees, so the treadmill sometimes makes me hurt....my husbands gonna kill me! LOL!

| I have low back problems too and the treadmill hurts my back and my hamstrings - but I love the eliptical - it doesn't hurt my back or hamstrings at all. I think you will love it and it is good to do different things; treadmill some days, eliptical others....

| We have the Proform 900 Spacesaver. It really does fold and move pretty easily!!! I really like the foot platforms as well and I actually do it barefoot!!! Unlike a treadmill, it does not get plugged in. The display works on batteries!!

| I have one. Hi. We have a home gym and it's outfitted with all Nordic Track. The thing is that you can't go cheap. You have to buy their top of the line equiptment. The Elliptical you can get for around $1200 and it works closely to what they have in the gym but not quite as good. If you buy any cheaper then $1200 you'll be disappointed. For me I prefer the treadmil but I love to run so I'm used to it. Also with Nordic Track they were bought by Ifitness. The quaility in my oppion is not what it used to be. My treadmill is about ten years old or so and it's great - made by Noridic Track but my elliptical and my bike were made after Ifitness took over and the bike ended up arriving to me dead on arrival and the elliptical came a few parts short, then the parts that were short were on back order and I had to wait about three weeks. I will say that they made good on it and sent me a bunch of work out tapes. Best of luck. Elaine |

| Well thanks everyone. I just ordered the Proform 950 space saver elliptical! This and the nordic are EXACTLY the same, and the salesman pretty much said as much. The price was the same however I got free shipping, a free mat to go under it, and a 4 yr warranty for only $119 more! Still made out ahead especially with that warranty! I will let ya'll know how much I love it and use it!!!

| I too have the Proform and love it.....but my dad has the Nordic Track one - and it is WAY better than mine. I could not afford the Nordic Trac at the time so that is why i got my Proform. It is a good machine but if you can afford it I would get the Nordic Track - it is a much better elliptical.
