can anyone help? hope this isnt too long and someone knows something about it... well i've felt like this before yesterday but yesterday was the worse! i was at the mall n started feeling weird so decided to go get some lunch well while in the line i started feeling dizzy and really hot and shaky... i could barely say cash when i went to pay! i was so scared i wouldnt make it to my car i felt like i would just pass out sweating my shirt wet and so dizzy like very weird and hard to explain! i was wandering if anyone has experienced this or heard of this? Anyone think hyperglocemic  or any other thoughts of maybe that i can research????My mom said i should make a doctors appointment which i prolly will but wanted to see first! Thanks so much for any info you can give thanks!!! |
I used to have that happen when my blood sugar would drop. I had some serious issues with that several years ago. I had to eat small meals several times a day just a couple hours apart and I carried Glucose tablets in my purse all the time...they came in handy more than once! You should make an appointment with your Dr. to get checked out. |
How long had it been since you'd eaten? This happens to me if I go too long without food, and a lot of times I'll get a migraine too:( YES, go to the doctor. Even if 100 of us have had the same symptoms, you just never know if something more serious is going on with you. High blood pressure can cause the same type of symptoms. I hope that you feel better quick and that it's nothing serious:love: |
might be low iron.. that happens to me when i don't take my iron pills... it's very common in women... but definitly go to the doctor.. let us know how it goes! |
i meant hypoglocemia sry just noticed! thx for the replys |
did you ever find out what it was? im sure its nothing too big to be worried about... i act kinda like that right before "someone" comes for a monthly visit... :p but i think thats just me.. |
Sounds like hypoglycemia. Carry some hard candy with you and when you feel that first start to happen eat some candy or drink some orange juice or anything that you can get your hands on with lots of sugar in it. Be sure to eat a meal also after that or you will have a rebound drop in your glucose again. |

My brother is hypoglycemic...this happens when you eat too much sugar...and I hate to disagree but, I have high blood pressure and this is one of those things that you don't know you have unless a doctor checks it...This is why it is called the silent killer. Sounds to be like anixety...can you feel you heart pounding? I agree with your Mom...I would also go to the doctors...we are not doctors (I don't think anyone here is!) You need to see a professional. |

I don't know how old you are, but you might get your hormone levels checked. It can start to happen early, even in your 30's you can become peri menopausal. |
I am borderline hypoglycemia and this will happen to me if I have gone without eating for a while and I'm active at the same time (even just walking). Always starts by getting hot and feeling strange. Eating definitely helps, but protein is the best thing for you. Sugary foods will spike you really high, then you will drop again. Frequent meals, always with a protein are your best friend here!! But, definitely check with your doctor. Blood work is a must!! |
I get that with my anxiety attacks. Medicine can control them, Good luck. |
Thanks i was just asking for advice to know what i could expect not for a diagnosis! Bummpp |
That happened to me a few times a few years ago while riding on the train it was not packed but all of a sudden i was standing in the train and then i would start to feel hot and cold at the same time i would start to sweat and feel all balmy, my knees would feel weak my legs would get all wobly that i had to get out of the train on the three times it happened i figured it was anxiety attacks occuring thank goodness has not happened since then |
