My youth group will be doing some projects and research this spring and summer and we are in need of magazines for articles and pictures.

So if you have any of the following magazines just laying around that you have read and re-read and would like to donate them, that would be GREAT!

Magazines in need of:
Fashion (actual fashion magazines OR any w/ fashion pictures in them)
Garden/Outdoor Magazines (garden scenes, woodland scenes, etc)
Architecual (sp) - any w/ houses, even house plans, etc.
Animals (dogs, etc.)

We can pay for media mail shipping if needed.

When do you need them??

Patrick and I have been buying Architecural books/magazines for years, planning our dream house! We think we have decided to just keep our "fixer upper" that we bought in AL across the street from my Mom. Since we lost her last July, I don't really want to build one nor is there anywhere that I really want to be. Patrick likes the house, so we will probably finish remodeling and keep it. Anyway ..... we have a bzillion books/magazines which I kept .... they are so expensive. Patrick said just toss 'em ... I kept them thinking there would be a need for them. Sounds like I found my need!!!

Just let me know when you need them and where to ship them and they're yours! Some are in storage in Grand Junction and some are in Alabama so it may take me a little while to get them to you!

That would be great! We could use them any time......late spring, early summer, mid-summer, late summer.....the earlier the better, but they would be used either way.

I always save our magazines too (like you because of the price and I hate to throw out good things)...I finally started giving them to my mother, who will then take them to work and they get read there and then some get taken home....sometimes, my mother brings them back and takes them to one of the local gas stations for the ladies to read. So, my magazines get around! hee,hee

My husband has loads of Outdoor Life, Field and Stream, and those types of outdoorsy magazines. Do you want them? We also take New Mexico and that magazine has lots of pretty pictures. We get the Smithsonian too. Are these the types you are looking for? If so, just let me know and I can send them.
