| Monistat I was on a beauty forum a while ago & they where talking about Monistat for your face. Noooo......it's not the one for "down there"... It is called Monistat Chafing Gel...it's a silicone based product for making things feel smooth...When used on the face as a primer it minimizes pores & makes your foundation go on easier & holds down the oiliness. I bought a tube a few months ago & have been using it & I've had absolutely no problems... Everyones skin is different so I don't know how it is on dry skin ...mine is normal except the T-zone which is very oily...this has been working great & it's has the same ing. as the higher priced primer products.... You can get a free sample to try & a coupon at.. https://www.monistat.com/soothingcar...est_sample.jsp

| I hadn't thought of using it for that....I'll have to keep that in mind...The feeling of it is kinda velvety...but at the same time it's not greasy... I like the way it feels on my face.

| Q Boards I am a member there too. I love the women there. I have tried and loved all the products I have tried from recommendation there. I think the monesta (their name for it) is a great makeup primer. |

| The women on QVC said they called the Monastat Co. & asked if it was ok to use on the face & where assured it was perfectly safe... They also compared it to the Smashbox product & said it was essentially the same product but Monostat was much cheaper... I've been using it for months w/ no problems.

| If you get the free sample & compare it to the Smashbox let me know if you think their similar... I've never used Smashbox so I can't say if their similar or not.
