Christian Music
 
I recently discovered Christian music. My 2 favorites are "I can only imagine" and "come one come all" both by Mercy Me. The songs are complete opposites, but are both awesome! I was wondering if any one else here listens to any christian music, and which christian songs are your favorites.

Yes, I love Mercy Me, You'll probably like Third Day also. Word of God Speak is beautiful.

we have a great radio station in Houston (89.3 FM)... you can listen online at www.ksbj.org and click on 'Listen Now'. They play Mercy Me as well as other great contemporary christian artists. You can at least hear what's out there to get an idea on who's CD's to buy..... :D

My brother who is a preacher him and his wife sing Christian music, They have a radio station in Fl.

I Love Christian music, my favorite bands are Jars of CLay, Third Day, Casting Crowns (check out both thier Cd's I guarantee you will LOVE IT!) DC Talk (its old school but I still love them, they are one of my all time favorite), Mercy Me, Jeremy Camp, Audio Adrenaline and Steven Curtis Chapman

You have to check out Casting crowns, I love thier song "praise you in this storm". They came to my church and did a concert and they are amazing. Here is their website: http://www.castingcrowns.com/main.php

We listen to Christian music as well. My son just went to a youth Xtreme concert and got to see Jeremy Camp, Third Day, and Kutless. Kutless' song 'Strong Tower' is one of our favorites! And we can't forget Casting Crowns - they are from our area!

is the only music I listen to, I would be hard put to name a favorite, but Mercy Me is definitely great and 3rd day is a favorite of mine too.

I tend to like Chris Rice and Michael W. Smith.

I love Sonicflood! I really want to get a cd that I saw on tv called "Open the Eyes of my Heart" and it has a lot of different artists on there. MercyMe has a song on there as well. It is only sold on tv though so I haven't bought it yet.

Look at Walmart -- I got a collection with Open the Eyes of My Heart on it (I love that one too) -- and my favorite all time Christian song "God of Wonders." I think it might have been one of the WOW collections from 2-3 years ago. I would look but it is in the car. You don't know how many times I have played God of Wonders -- it lifts me every time!

Sonic Flood is awesome too! I also wanted to add By the Tree to my list of good christans groups, I got that one in my CD player now. I really like thier song "Beautiful One"

I love "God of Wonders", awesome song! I also love "Here I am to Worship" and "It is well within my soul" by A.A

There's just too many to list. I like a lot of them.

Check out Aaron Shust and Bebo Norman. Another up and comer that's good is Brandon Heath. I also love the Point of Grace Christmas CD.

See, I told you, there's just too many to pick just one. :p

OMG I love Christian music, I love all those songs like I can only imagine, My Sacrifice, Open the eyes of my heart, etc. We always grew up as Christians but as me and my brother got older we stopped going to Church but my brother got saved and got me into those songs. Everytime those worship commercials come on I'm singing to every song ll

There's this new girl group called "FLY LEAF". They sound very good and it's Christian. It sounds kinda like alternative rock,I dunno.

Mercy Me
 
I had a chance to attend a multi-band concert at a Luis Palau concert given in Redmond, WA years ago. Mercy Me came on stage and sang "I Can Only Imagine" and we were really getting into it when they sang "How Great Thou Art" acapella and when the song was done they weren't on-stage. It was the most humblest thing I've ever seen a Christian band do.

I love Michael w Smith, Jeremy Camp, Casting Crowns, Mercy Me, Avalon, and many more.
Also, I think Darlene Zcheth, from Hillsong, have great worship songs.
I'm so glad a lot of people hear listen to Christian music! it's great!!!

My sister in law is a Christian recording artist. Her name is Solveig Henderson and she has the sweetest voice and writes her own music.

Her music reminds me of wind chimes. Very soothing.

I only listen to Christian music. Yes, I love that song!!! I think it's called "redeemer" but it's awesome!!!!

mercyMe is Great!! I like Hawk Nelson, Barlowgirl, Skillet, Casting Crowns, and have lately fallen in love with Rebecca St. James. I love her stuff!!! I know, all these bands are total opposites!! lol

Anyone heard "made to love" by tobyMac? It' his new song, and I love it!!

Hey, like someone else said before, nice to meet other Christians in here!!

I discovered Christian music about a year ago & listen to it often." Redeemer "by Nicole C. Mullen is one of my favorites. Also, a beautiful Christmas song called "Mary Did You Know", gives me chills every time I here it. Happy listening & God Bless.:rbyorkie:
