I know this is an older thread but came across it will looking for an answer to my girl's static problem. Anyway, my son's girlfriend has a Christian cd out. She's in Nashville now and will have 5 songs on an upcoming Christian album and they're working on getting another cd out soon. Anyway, you can listen to some clips of her cd on her website. Please go look if you like strong Christian voices. The folks in Nashville are saying she's the next big Christian artist! Unity Fest
 
Here in Muskegon, MI we have Unity Fest in August. This will be the 3rd year as a volunteer. It's great, there are so many families here. There are 3 stages with great music. Lots of good food, vendors and the breezes off of Muskegon Lake.

So far they have scheduled: Tammy Trent, Newsboys, Jars of Clay, Casting Crowns, Mark Schultz, Mercy Me (for Main Stage)
The Lake Stage is on the shore of Muskegon Lake & The A-Stage is in the teen area with :cool: Christian Rock.

I listen to a lot of christian music. I love mercy me, third day, seventh day slumber...but my favorites of all are Casting Crowns and Chris Tomlin. If you want to really worship with the music, those two will really get you there. another great one is Shane & Shane. Oh boy....they know how to worship too. Theirs is a little more mellow...They take verses from the Bible and turn it into song. It is amazing. Chris Tomlin does a lot of the worship songs you hear at most churches and worship centers. I have seen him and Casting Crowns in concert and am totally taken by them.

Glad you found this music...I find it really helps keep me going. And keeps me in my place with God.

We are love Christian music and it's what we always listen to. Not only do I love the music itself, but the message that is given to my 2 toddlers. Just riding around in the car or at home, I don't have to worry what they might hear. :) You know, one song that ALWAYS makes me cry is, I Get On My Knees. Another all-time favorite of mine is, I Am Blessed.

I LOVE Christian music and have loads of CS's. Sela has some great albums and Michael W. Smith and I just discovered a group I like but my mind just went to mush...will let you know as soon as I remember the name.:D

i used the i can only imagine for my sons funeral, i love that song and it really is a heart touching song that makes you think, to me christian music has all you can ask for, i mean if you want gospel there you go if you want rap there is christioan rap i have tons of christian rap cds, if you want relaxing there is relaxing christian music, i mean i here people say they listen to rap for the beat or for the music not the words yet they are afraid to "bump" christian music, im like wth, but i love it and to me it is the most wonderful music there is, dont get me wrong i like it all but i love christian music

I love "I Can Only Imagine". That song was popular the summer we lost my grandfather. We had been sitting around talking about what was the first thing he'd do when he got to Heaven & then that song came out....it still makes me teary to hear it sometimes.

OHHH, I LOVE THAT SONG... I listen to Christian Music all day at work.

I really like Chris Tomlin, Robin Mark, Paul Wilbur, Terry Macalmon, Passion, Don Moen, Casting Crowns, Matt Redman, Ross Parsley and many more. My favorite songs are "How Great Is Our God", "Be Unto Your Name", "Thank You" (by Passion), "Everlasing God" (by Chris Tomlin), "He Reigns" (by The Newsboys) and too many other ones to name.

I love Casting Crowns too they have some really great songs What if his people prayed, Who I am, If we are the body,Voice of truth I also like Mercy Me's spoken for album, Point of Grace day by day,Chris Rice Untitled Hymn come to Jesus and the whole short term memories cd, Audio Adrenaline Big Big House

I LOVE Christian music. I have listened to it for years. I have MANY favorite songs and many favorite Christian artists/groups. Some of my favorites are: Michael W. Smith, Mercy Me, Nicole C. Mullins, Casting Crowns, Joy Williams, Jars of Clay, Third Day, Steven Curtis Chapman...oh I could go on, and on and on....:)

I wish you guys could HEAR the Christian CD that my church put together, it is AMAZING!!! We have an awesome group with some extremely talented singers. They could definitely be on the radio! Just totally awesome! :thumbup:

Edited to add: Can't forget Michelle Tumes! I LOVE her!!! :thumbup:

Girl, that is just about ALL I listen to! KSBJ is THE BEST!!! And yes, I highly recommend that people go online and listen! You will love it! :) I have it playing on my computer all the time and in the car as well :thumbup:
