Maybe I should go to the ER.... I'm haveing female problems. I feel like I'm having a miscarriage. Lots of bleeding and clots the size of my fist. I'm cramping so bad to! I had my tubes tied 6yrs ago and have been on bc since Oct. tring to fix my problem. I really don't feel good right now.:( |
I think you should have someone take you right now! |
I have to take myself and drag all 4 of my kids out of bed to go.:( That's the only thing stopping me. The kids need their sleep since tomorrow is a school day with class pictures. |
Family or friend nearby that can come stay with the kids and/or take you? Definately call an all night nurse hotline or something. What good will you be to your kids if something happens because you didn't go? How hold are your kids again? Isn't one of them old enough to wake up and watch the others? |
I called the ER and they said that I should come in but am not symtomatic yet and if I didn't want to come in that was fine too. My only family is my sister down here and she's prego with 5 kids she'd have to get out of bed and drive over here to sit with mine. She's like 20min from me. I really hate to get her out of bed and make her drag her kids out of bed too. I tired to see if my neighbor would sit with my kids while I went but she says she has a migraine and doesn't want to. (Even though I do it for her all the time with a migraine.) There's no way around it. I have to take the kids with me if I go. I think I'm going to see if the pain subsides and the clots stop. The nurse did tell me the signs that I need to go in imediatly. |
Your kids need a HEALTHY mom girl!!! Get yourself to a hospital!! Your health is more important than anything!!! Dawn |
Good grief Kitty, I worry about you. Take care of yourself. If you need to take all your kids with you for your health's sake and possibly life, then you better do it!! I'll haunt you forever if you don't. I swear it. |
There has to be someone that can help you. Call them. |
That stinks your neighbor won't help you out. It's not like you are asking them to come over so you can go to a party. Sheesh. I feel so bad for you. I wish I could watch them for you. |
same thing here girl. i have been doing the same thing since around march of last year. i finally had my cancer cut out and i still have the bleeding and cramping and clotting at least a couple days out of the week. i take ibuprofen for the pain and sweeling. they say its from the uterus being inflammed and to take advil or ibuprofen. but i have had tests done over and ovre again and i still have it. i wont be bleeding and if i have intercourse i start cramping and bleedng clots and i have even lost chunks of white things that were supposedly miscarriages but i had these back to back in months and i knew i wasnt doing anything so definately get checked. personally though the er may not do anything about it, that was my case, some pain medicine and i was on my way with an apt. for my yno. but my gyno said if mine doesnt let up then he wil jave to do a rapid hysterectomy since he believe my cancer may come back since my last biopsy showed i still had cells they just werent active but the last time i progressed from unactive to cancer in 3 months. anway sorry its so long but in that area its really hard to get diagnosed, but there is something wrong. my mom did the same thing yet what i have and she has is totally different. but go to the gyno. take some advil if you have some. i feel for you cause i know it really hurts, and the bleeding and passing of clots is horrible, it feels somewhat like your stomach is coming out of your happy hole. |
I agree- you don't know exactly whats going on, so just to be safe I think a doctor should monitor you. I totally agree with Dawn- best thing for your kids is for you to be healthy and safe. I'm so sorry your neighbor is being a brat (can think of another word beginning with B i'd like to call her) but I'm SURE any other person you can think of will be happy to watch the kids. Can you call for an ambulance if not??? If you cant find another option, best to take kids with you. Hopefully soon someone would be able to come get them. I hope everythings ok!!!!! p.s. and when you get better: give that neighbor a good piece of your mind  |
I hope you can get yourself to the hospital! That stinks that your neighbor won't help out! What is wrong with people that they won't help out someone in need! Heck, I'm sure the kids are all in bed anyway, so she could lay there with her migraine and not have to deal with kids anyway. I will say a prayer for you! I hope you feel better and please try to get to the ER! *HUG* |
i left and i thought abiut again so i came back to let you know that im praying for you and i hope you feel better. i know its hard and tiring especialy with kids. i just hope you fell better. let me know whats going on. much love |
Okay, I went in to the ER. I left the kids here by themselves and went the 10blocks to the hospital. Guess what, They dont have a obgyn or any way to treat female problems such as mine. They don't even have they stuff to deliver a baby if they needed to! They did blood work and said that the levels are fine and to go home and stay off my feet. They didn't even give me anything for the pain! I hate hospitals. They said if I wanted to I could go to another town to the Er there. I don't want to pay to ER bills though. I'll just wait until morning and get ahold of my dr. Hopefully they will help me. I'm hurting so bad right now I'm crying and I just don't know what to do. |
I dont understand why they wouldnt give you something for the pain until morning...geez I feel soooooooooooo bad for you hunny...do you have ANYTHING for pain at all...does your "neighbour" have something for pain maybe like a tylenol 3?? Dawn |
I have 800mg Ibuprofen but it's not helping at all. I've taken 3 pills already in the last 3hrs and the pain is just getting worse. I am tired but hurt to bad to sleep even. I feel like my insides are falling out. |
Maybe the ER in the other town may something you might have to do...pain that severe should be looked at soon than later...does you sister have someone who could watch HER kids so she can come watch yours...so complicated I know but boy you cant suffer sweety.. Dawn |
No, all of our family is in Kansas. My husband is out of town working and so is hers. She doesn't even have any neighbors because she lives out in the middle of nowhere. Her inlaws live near by but they won't watch her kids. They will only watch the baby which is hers and her new husbands child together. They won't watch the other 4. Her kids are younger than mine too. I really hate to wake her up with her being prego and all. She is having a rough time with this pregnancy so she needs all the rest she can get. A 2yr old doesn't help out in that department. LOL! I'm sure I'll get by until morning. Heck I've been bleeding for the last 6yrs straight so I don't think I'll bleed to death over night. It just feels like it right now. I'm going to take Kitty and go lay down in bed. Snuggling up to her might make the pain go away. There's nothing like a sweet little yorkie to make you forget your troubles. Thanks everyone for being here for me and letting me rant a little. I do know one thing and that's this hospital in this town is not getting another dime from me! |
i agree you may be hemmoraging (sp?) and should get to the ER however you can!! I'm so sorry you are feeling so bad... and certainly don't want you to get any worse!! I'm thinking of you, I hope you feel better very soon :( *Hugs & Prayers* |
sorry didn't realize you posted again i truly hope you feel better if it starts to get worse please call the other ER & ask them to help you find a way there... Im sure they have support systems for emergencies such as this (maybe a standby ambulance or something?? cant be the first person this has happened to?) Get well soon!!! |
How are you today? I hope the pain subsided, please call your Gyn abd get checked out. I'm concerned about you.... |
Motrin and Advil helps the pain but it make you bleed more. 800 mg of motrin is only supposed to be given every 6 hours. You are taking way too much. It is not good on your stomach and it will thin your blood and make you bleed more. SO don't take more than you are supposed to because it wont help the pain any better and it is too dangerous. Don't ever take too much tylenol either, it will cause liver failure. I have known people to overdose on tylenol and die and those who didn't die ended up with a liver transplant. And the hospital probably didn't given you anything for pain because you were driving yourself and the only other thing they could give would be a shot of Toradol but since you already had taken motrin they probably didn't want to give you that either. Hope you are feeling better. |
I see you are on this morning and wanted to say I hope you are doing better. |
I'm still cramping really bad but the clotting has stopped. I called my dr last night at home and she's going to see about schedueling me for a hystroectomy. I curled up with Kitty last night and she stayed right next to me until about 6 this morning. I was burning up so she moved away from me. I don't blame her I wanted to move away from me too. LOL |
I am just reading this and hope you can get some answers and help. You need to take care of this as soon as possible. Praying for relief and help from your pain. |
I'm so sorry you are going through all this virtually alone. Glad you were able to talk to your own doctor last night and the clotting has stopped. Are you going in to see your doctor today after the kids are off to school? I sure hope so if for nothing else so that he/she can give you some pain meds for the week-end and to cover til you can have surgery. Either way, I hope you get relief from the pain soon! Sending you lots of hugs, good thoughts, and prayers! Please keep us posted! |
I hope that your doc can get you into surgery soon. I lived like this for a long time as well, since I have no health insurance. Turns out I had severe endometriosis, it was all over in there:( After the surgery, much much better:thumbup: Prayers going out for you:love: |
Do you have a heating pad? I get horrible cramps and painful ovulation. I practically live on my heating pad during those times! |
I don\'t know if my doctor will be able to getme intoday. She\'s suppose to call methis morning. I\'ve been trying to get this taken care of for the last 6years and I just keep getting passed from doctor to doctor and all of them want to start at square one. I really hope I get a hystroectomy. No, I don\'t have a heating pad that\'s what they make these wonderful fur babies for! Just kidding. I have a rice sock that I use for my puppies and I borrow it too. |
Try to rest today as much as possible. Have you ever heard of an endometrial ablasion? It is a good alternative to a hysterectomy. They burn the inside of your uterus and your supposed to not bleed much if any. I am not very familiar with it but it would be a good option to a hysterectomy. Then you would still get to keep your ovaries so you wont have the hormonal changes and the recovery is so much better. Ask you doctor about it today. |
