Oh my heavens Sandy I'm just seeing this for the first time! Did Kristen arrive at her brother's yet? You must have had some night last night worring about her. Shoot.. I wish I had seen this YESTERDAY. i know all about that area. Just for future information. if you call ahead.... you can usually arrange for someone to DRIVE you over the big bridges and such. It is a service most have. SECOND... even if you do not have the money you can still go thru the toll... they just direct you to the toll building and you go give them your driver's info . and you have a certain amount of time to send it in through the mail. |
I didn't know there was a service that would drive you. That's a great idea for those who have real phobia's about bridges. She made it ok, tho. She had enough money for tolls, she was just getting down to where it might get close if she had to buy too much gas. Her girlfriend had cash with her so she paid for their room. And to top it all off, Roxy has been limping and yesterday she wouldn't even walk on her foot. I called the er vet, who happens to be her regular vet and he said not to worry, as long as she wasn't crying it wasn't an emergency. Wait and see how she was today. She is much better today. She goes out and plays soccer with it and chases the cats. She looks pretty funny holding it up when she pees, cause she also sticks her one leg in the air, too. She has to prop herself against the fence or tip over. :p Yesterday I got up 2 hours too early for work and today I got up 15 min. before I had to leave. I will be so glad when she is there and things get back to somewhat normal.:rolleyes: |
Update: Krysten has decided to become a pharmacist (her brother's new house is unbelievable - I haven't seen it so I can't wait for the pics.). Waterfall in the bathtub type of house. He gave her some cash to help her out, took them out to dinner and they are on their way now. She is feeling much better and her eye is starting to clear up. So, it looks like the rest of the trip should go better. |
KRYSTEN AND JAMIE MADE IT TO MYRTLE BEACH! Safe and sound. They got there about 8 pm tonite. And that was with a trip into Wilmington, NC. Thanks for all your prayers, I know they helped the girls arrive safely. |
