I never got involved in the "other" thread although I did read most of it but there were a lot of "kind and caring" people who did get very involved! I am sorry to them that they had such a bad experience. My only point in posting here is to commend those who had a willing and giving spirit and also to Admin for their concerns, recommendations and actions to keep YT a great place with great people!

I just receive an email from her. She has to find my information and will get back with me. (Like I beleive that.) In the subject line I just put Hello.

Okay, I just received another email from her and in it it states that everything orders, refunds and all were sent out yesterday.

Oh wow....It doesn't surprise me though. When she first started I ordered some belly bands and waited a few weeks so then I PM'ed her and she said her dog spilled pop on the material and then said she finally made them and shipped them out....waited a few more weeks and nothing..Then I ordered from Des and she was on vacation so waited for Des to get back and she got the belly bands right out to me. :thumbup: :thumbup: Des!! and I still hadn't received the belly bands from Kristy...finally after 3-4 weeks or so she shipped them UPS 2nd day air and they got to me. I knew something was up with that girl from what had happened to me but I didn't want to say anything because stuff happens. I know some of you seen the thread where her hubby was laid off from work or got hurt or something and needed money and ppl were buying stuff from her and this time with her house I knew she was up to something so I didn't bother to donate or purchase anything from her. Oh and when she was selling her material I was going to buy it and the next day she came up with an excuse that her dog spilled pop on all the material...guess she uses that story all the time and didn't realize she gave me that excuse before. I'm glad she came up with that excuse because I would have probably been ripped off. She thought I was dumb but I know she sold it to someone else who offered more money. I just didn't say anything...I was like okay not a problem. I just knew something was strange about her from the begining and I'm sorry I never brought this up but since alot of YT'ers liked her I really didn't want to start anything. Thats just not the type of person I am.

well I spoke to someone on paypal, they said if more people file claims against this seller then they can reopen my case/dispute.

Hope more people open cases against her and your case is reopened. It's unfair that you lost money to her.

I know this is kinda off subject. Have you ever wondered how she has DC and is online alot? I mean I wouldn't leave my children with someone who is getting paid to watch them and is on the net most of the time.:rolleyes:

I'm so dissapointed in her. People PAID HER HOUSE PAYMENT HERE and she's still ignoring them ????

This just isn't right when she received all that money - she should have refunded people THAT DAY. I tried to talk to her several times but obviously ....she didn't listen if she's ignorning people.

Yorkietalk people are the best but I swear....I get SO upset with people mess with them.....I hope you all get this resolved and it's too bad she did this to so many people

Goodness gracious! I hadn't thought about that! I hope enough complaints go through for pay pal to reopen cases that are past the 45 day mark.

I too have ordered from Connie, Des, and tinkerbells closet and have never had this type of problem!!

The bad thing is if there is no money in the account there is no recourse for us unless you used your credit card.

I have ordered from Shana and had no problems, ordered from Des and had no problems and From Katheryn and had no problems.

THis is a first sour exp. and I am sorry for all the others and the problems they have encountered!!

The above quote was from me. I didn't know Kristy but from reading a few threads prior to her needing $$$ for the house it was obvious that she had a pattern to her behavior. I feel very bad for all those who lost money with her. I know several people (including her) were angry with me for just "asking" what happened. I didn't know about her husband losing his job or I might not have asked, but I did, and got "blasted" for it. I had several PM's from her and they weren't nice! I reposted them - publicly - so that everyone would see how she was. :rolleyes:

I have bought from Kristin, Jodi, Shana, Des and MinMuf1 - and have had a great experience with all of them. I think that's why it is important to post when you buy from people on here and your experience with them. There are "red flags" that people send out about themselves... we just have to watch for them. I certainly hope that this does not discourage anyone from purchasing or helping a fellow YT'er. There are soo many very nice and caring people on here, I would hate to see this site go down because of a few.

I think she should get banned! Even if she does pay everyone back (unlikely), she can ruin the rep of this site. I think she's a scammer, or just really irresponsible. No matter what the case though, words can't describe how wrong she is on soo many levels.

Her business obviously didn't last long, and I'm sure next month she'll be on some other forum collecting donations for her mortgage :rolleyes:

This hasn't been the only scam on here lately...I'm thinking this was God's intentions for me being broke!

I'm just glad that I'm not out that much. Others on here are out alot more than I am. I'm just thankful that she has been outted. Everyone here needs to know not to do business with her anymore. I really hope this never happens again.

ME too. I made an order in Dec, was promised it was sent out 4 times, never got it, and never got a return from a PM. Are you ignorning me? I'm sorry to say but this is a really bad way to run a business. I myself own a business and would never really blast anyone but you've lost my business. if you are too busy, then don't make empty promises. Plus, I would NEVER wait over 1 month to make another promise of a shipment. That's just how I run my business, customer service is of utmost importance.

I am giving all my orders now to Bren at Cafe Max who is also on this forum. You guys should check her out, her treats look incredibly yummy and healthy.

thanks for the heads up Shana, I'm disputing with paypal right now. It's not so much the $ but the principal. She scammed me and sounds like a lot of people here. This is a horrible shame.

I'm sorry to hear that her situation has made you leary. There are a LOT of reputable sellers out there who's business was mentioned (including myself) who would NEVER let this happen and run a very reputable business where customer satisfaction is of utmost importance. It includes not stealing people's money or not ignoring people's emails. I sure hope that this hasn't scarred you. There are a lot of honest to goodness sellers out there who are not scammers.

I've ordered from a couple of members on here, that i've known from other forums, so i'm not that leary, but this is just a tad bit scary, causei i used to see her posting here all the time!

Everyone goes through a financial rut, but what i find funny is, if she is losing her house, how did she have time to go on a computer?

if i couldn't afford my house, the computer would be gone. i'd sell all the accessories that i didn't really need. house is much more important than a computer.

everyone goes through financial things, i've been through a toughie but you don't see me asking for money! i feel bad for those that have such good hearts and gave only to have your hard earned money ripped off.

my daughter had surgery for a bilateral hernia (her fallopian tubes etc).. and my dad lost his job, but we've never had to ask for money..

Kristy really has issues that i think need to be dealt with. I know im not the best one in managine my money because i live paycheck to paycheck.. but at least i know im not as evil to ask for help and then do this to people..
