Is the tree still up??? |
I put mine up by myself and i expect I will have to take it down by myself tonight I am tired of looking at also!! MEN |
I am lucky. My Husband does all the outdoor decorations and takes them down. I take all the ornaments and garland off the tree then My Husband takes the tree down |
1 Attachment(s) This is all somewhat comforting to hear. My dad and brother are NOT like this so as I read about all of the men on this thread and compare them to my boyfriend I'm beginning to realize that I'm not alone. I have to light a fire under his a$$ to get him to do anything. I've been having back issues since July so I didn't even put up my big tree this year because I knew that I would be stuck taking it down by myself (which I'm currently unable to do). My solution was this...I put up this tree this year on my desk. It took less than 5 minutes to put up and take down AND I was able to do it myself :D |
That looks like a Charlie Brown Tree! Now I could handle putting that up and taking it down! |

Tree Status And the tree status is................................................ .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .......................STILL UP !!!!!! |

LOL! Not me !!! I'm holding out! I'm not doing...I'm not doing it !!! ha ha Oh and there is a "tree" made out of lights that we did on our flag pole that still stays lite dusk to dawn on a timer....Hhmmmm....I wonder how long THAT will be up and lit???? |
My husband is taking ours down RIGHT NOW!! :p :D |
Mine came down by myself last night and I did make him feel bad to help me carry them back into the attic. No sympathy for taking it down he sat on the couch and watch me BOO |
is the tree still up? |
I'm a little curious myself. Ours is still up, but we keep it up till after the 3 Kings Day (Saturday) He said, he would help (I'm crossing my fingers) |
Ha ha! Tree is still up !!! And the outside tree is bright and lit every morning when he leaves for work ! We have not even mentioned the decorations to eachother! Good thing I like my tree :) |
is the tree still up? mine is, my husband has four days off every weeek and he uses the excuse i dont know where the stuff goes and what ornament goes on which box |
This is too funny..my fiance is the same way. |
You could hang little red hearts on it for Valentine's. |
I love my husband to death, but I think we think alittle differently sometimes! :) Oh well...I think I'll just enjoy the lights while they last :) All the dogs don't bother it, so its not hurting anything! I keep ya'll posted!!!! |
Just checking in to see if the tree is still up? |
Ya know what???? I caved yesterday!!!!!!!! I took it down. He wasn't home, when I did it. I told him he just needed to pack it back in the box for me. Oh well, I guess I knew I'd be taking it down. the funny thing??? He didn't even know I was testing him! LOL! He never once questioned why the tree was still up. I was even turning it on at night :p LOL. Gotta love em !!!!!!!!!! |
lol lol lol:p :lol tears :lol tears :lol tears Men just don't get it...lol |
As much as I understand why you posted this. I hate these "tests". I don't "test" my gf. It just isn't something that I feel is right. If you have an issue, you should talk about it. I will admit. My gf has brought up why I didn't clean up a certain spot on the wall (insulation foam stuck on the wall). And I told her that I've tried several solvents to get rid of the stuff. This stuff has failed...unfortunately. So I have to find other solutions. Keep in mind, that I need to find solutions that do not make a mess, nor affect the health of her and our Yorkie (allergic reactions, etc.). So it is a little complicated, as I don't have much time on a normal basis as is. So my gf has tested me on this. I understand why she did it. But ultimately, I feel that rather than testing each other, both sides need to communicate rather than "hope" the other side will magically know what you want. |

Okay, we all communicate as best we can. Sometimes, it would be nice if our husbands would notice the obvious. Besides, aren't you the man? Wouldn't expect you to understand. :D |

My husband and I communicate GREAT! This was just a fun, harmless...test :) |
You are so funny. I was waiting to see if he would take it down. My b/f is kind of a clean freak so he is the "put away" guy. Like if I leave something out, he will put it away or he's been bugging me about putting the tree away. He's really good with that stuff, yet he can't seem to put the toilet seat down  So I got on him this weekend and I think 98% of the time the seat was down :lol tears :bravo: :cheer: :yay_jump: :yay_jump: |
