So let me get this straight? You are doing an owner contract and are behind 2 months rent/mortgage payment? What is your default with them? 30 days? 60 days? I am not trying to be rude, I work in a mortgage office so I am trying to sort the facts. If you have a rent to own contract and you default within the period set forth in the contract there is not much you can do, other then scrape together the money ASAP. Why did you wait until the day you were in default to get help? You have had 2 months. We have lease option to purchase properties with a 30 day default. At the end of 30 days nonpayment the properties revert back to original owners. If you are still short by the time frame imposed on you by your landlord, I would be borrowing money from my parents or all most parents. Draw up a contract with them to pay them back money owed on a monthly payment plan or see if they would do a trade program. You cook or clean for them on X amount of days for so many months until all debt is paid back. Good luck and you are in my prayers. |

just a thought kristy. you may be better off with a different, and more steady job with a steady income. if daycare money can change your financial situtation at the turn of the wind, and threaten your home, it may not be the best option going forward. and your husband's work with the dog boxes fall under the same category. it's not steady and you to put part of the sales money towards the cost of material and shipping. it may be better just to get a second job with a steady income. just a couple thoughts as you turn a new leaf for the future. |

Kristy I don't know why you're getting a little bent out of shape. People have been opening their hearts and wallets to you to help you. I know I would be humbled by this. You can't fault some for questioning how this happened. A while ago you were talking about Christmas presents and then BANG you're losing your house. You can surely understand right? |
I don't mean this rude either but be thankful that so many people on YT care about others...:) |
I placed an order, I see you met your goal, That is wonderful hope every little bit helps |

i am continuously amazed by the outpour of generousity (my spelling sux today, sorry) from yt members for a member in need! definitely not a time to be rude even to skeptics! do the right thing and prove the skeptics wrong! don't find yourself in this hole ever again!!! btw, just looked this up. federal minimum wage is 5.15/hr. there are an average of 22 working days a month. that's 176 working hours. which translates to $906.40 before taxes. even if 20% is withheld, that's still $725.12 take home pay, which is more than enough to pay for a month of home mortgage, insurance, and taxes of $642. that means even flipping burgers for minimum wage would work out better for you than the daycare thing. please take that under consideration!!!! |
