ok...we have decided that we are not going to take deli sandwich stuff.....if they want that they can bring what they want. As some of you can probably tell i dont like being told WHAT to do or bring. I dont mind suggestions but telling me to bring this , this and this,...doesnt work for me soooo....me and my hubby and children are going to take hot trukey sandwiches...I know to some that seems more than the sandwich stuff and chips and bread... BUT its the point of things.. my SIL is bringing her tater soup....we dont like it.....my FIL is making chili...thats good but my girls wont eat it very often so im taking the hot turkey sanwiches and mashed taters for us and whoever else wants to have some.......guess if they dont like it they can stuff it!!:D :rolleyes:

That sounds really good! Could be BC I am hungry and waiting on hubby to hurry up and get dressed so we can get FOOD lol

I am like you, I dont mind ideas on what to bring but dont tell me to bring this this and this. You soo not over reacting

My mom is going through the same thing you are! My aunt called her up and said "I'm making this, so you need to bring this"...my mom was P'O'd! It reminded me of this thread, and I told even told her about it. Then my aunt told her that she's telling her sister to bring something else! I'm not sure if my mom told her "don't tell me what to bring though" she said that's what she was thinking, but I'm not sure if she said it.


Before people said that people were making the holidays all about gifts, now it's like people are making it all about the food.
