Goodness, that must have been a shocker . . .hope you can get ebay's attention regarding this issue. |
Someone can still take your pics even if you disable right click. All you have to do is drop and drag. |

From looking at your code, do you use www.helponclick.com to host your site? If so, you should contact their technical support, explain the situation and that you have a script to disable right click and hopefully remedy this problem, copy the code into a word document and ask them how you can copy and paste this code into the template so it will work. |

help on click is just my live chat company. I use easystorecreator as my webhost and I have already put in a request with them, hopefully they will be able to help me figure this out by tommorrow. Im still watermarkign as many pictures as I can right now, just for extra protection. Im not taking any chances, I dont want this to ever happen again. |

I still havent figured out how to contact ebay:( |
If you sing in on ebay, scroll right down to Security & Resolution Center - then you'll see all the "Report another problem" ... maybe that works? I would NOT give her 24 hours to remove the pics, you are too nice! Good luck. :) |

they can still copy it if they really want it... You save it to you desk top (the whole page) and you can copy it off.. Or you can just hit Ctrl-c And it dose the same thing... watermarks would be the best way to go. |

I remember a breeder stole a picture of someones yorkie and used them to sell her own puppies- The girl who's yorkie it was came across the site and posted about it & it DID get removed. The breeder apologised claiming it was an 'accident' - but these people know exactly what they're doing. you can write EBAY and write those sellers and tell them they MUST TAKE them off the site or you'll be taking further action - you have your own copyrights to those pictures and by law - they cannot just TAKE THEM !! |
oh and Shana - for some firepower - why not give us the ebay members names - we can BOMBARD them with complaints about seeing YOUR dogs on Ebay - that would get their attention QUICK :D :D *that's pretty much how we got that breeders/brokers (not sure which) attention in the above post* |
