I go to the beauty boards on the qvc.com website and their is some beauty savvy women there. They turned me onto several great products. I have to share this one and I think I might have before. It is made by monistat and is actually a chafing creme.(clear) And it works like magic for a makeup primer. It makes pores less noticeable makeup glides on and your face feels like silk!!! Try it you will not be dissapointed and it is alot less than most makeup primers. Also one of the girls on the other board called monistat to confirm that it is indeed safe to use on the face. It is normally used under the arms , between the thighs, places that rub other places. here is the link. NO WAY !! Monistat makes that 'other' cream that Thank the Lord I've never had to buy :p :p :p :p.... for real ??? kind of like using prep H for puffiness huh ?? very good to know cause I think that's sold everywhere... but how embarrassing to buy lol !!! |

You should not put anything on your face unless it is oil-free and non-comendogenic. This product is neither. It will clog pores and cause breakouts. Great idea, though. I am sure people who NEVER get breakouts or have perfect skin could use it, but that unfortunately I am not one of those people. :( |
QVC has a beauty board???? Oh hell, I'm never going to be off of this computer! |
Yes they do.Really nice gals with great tips too!!! |
Works great for me It has worked great for me and many others as well. I have far from perfect skin. I think alot of primers clog the pores don't they??? Curious as to which ingriedent is oil. Quote:

I have never had an acne problem , but I do have large pores and this helps minimize them. Maybe since it isn't for the face it wouldn't say that. Most products have wax instead of oil which also clogs the pores. I'm very pleased with the product and the price 6.99, I think. Alot of the women on the Q-boards that used all the high priced primers made the switch without incident. I can rememer one lady said it broke her out. |
Wow! I just read through this whole thread! I have to tell you, I am alittle bummed about the Bare Ess. BUT I know that everyone is different, so it is something we all have to try by trial & error, I guess. I have a list of what to ask for when I go to Sephora, so I will, eventually, find something that is right for me.......oh boy, I think it will take a long time............time away from YT.......is it worth it?! Ha! |
