Stolen!
 
We had 2 puppies stolen right out of our front yard today.:eek: They were chocolate Cockapoos. I had them outside in a pen for exercise. Someone opened the pen and took 2. They must have not been able to catch the other 2 because they were still here. People amaze me.

Yes...Had to call 911. I hate to do that but it is the only number on the weekend to get them.

I am so sorry that happened. Its terrible when you cant even have your puppies out in your yard without them being stolen. I worry about it with my two and never leave them out in our fenced yard long.

My daughter was just telling me a story like this!! OMG!! This woman had just put her schnauzer puppy out and she SAW this girl get out of her car, take the puppy and took off!! My Mom thinks people are stealing these little dogs to sell for drugs...I think this is just horrible...I just hope they don't hurt them....what scumbags!

Oh no how horrible. It's terrible that nothign is safe anymore.

I'm so sorry. I would imagine the chances of finding them are extremely slim. I would contact all of the local vet offices.

I had a Boxer pup stolen from me years ago and it was awful. I still pray that little one had a good home to grow up in. The way this world is turning, I sometimes wonder if having a child was a good idea. I hate having to teach him to be a bit cynical and untrusting of others. It just wasn't that way when I was a kid.

Here's hoping your angels find wonderful forever homes, no matter how they get there.

I am so sorry, I hope they find them safe. I have a chocolate Cockapoo and she is a sweetheart. I hope your puppies are home soon.

So sorry to hear this, Teri! How horrible to have them taken from you like that. I would put the word out every way possible, flyers around the neighborhood, all the vets offices and pet stores. If nothing else, it alerts people to the fact that there is a puppy thief in the area. :(

What an awful thing to have happen! I'm so sorry your puppies are gone! I just pray that whoever took them will take care of them.. Hopefully they'll turn up soon

I have a friend whose pug puppy was taken out of their fenced in yard. Daisy turned up 2 months later. This friend's sister was driving down a road on the other side of the county and saw a pug running up the road. She stopped the car and yelled "Daisy" and the dog stopped in her tracks and ran to the car. Daisy recognized her "Aunt" and was thrilled to see her. They never discovered who had taken her, but she was well fed and clean when she was found.

Wow, alot of this stuff seems to be going on lately. I am so so sorry for what happened to you. It can happen so quick! On MT, someone had a man follow her into the pet store and while she was looking at a sweater for one of her two maltese who were sitting next to her feet on a leash, the man snatched up one of her maltese and ran out the door!!!! She ran after him while calling 911 on her cell and after a short chase, the guy dropped her dog. The dog was not hurt, the man got away and her other dog that was left in the pet store was cared for by the store owner. Whewww!

I imagine that it goes on everywhere. There have been dogs reported stolen in other areas of our county but not this close to home, literally.

My friend's hubby was showing a Maltese pup to a couple at their kennel. He went to get another pup for them to look at and they left with the puppy they were holding.:eek: It wasn't even weaned.:mad:

Another incident was when a car drove around the house at another local kennel. They rang the doorbell but since noone answered, they assumed noone was home. A sick child inside watched them steal a bulldog out of the lot out back.:eek:

Everyone just be mindful of your furbabies. I don't want this to happen to anyone else. And thanks for all the well wishes. It means a great deal to me.

A few years ago, I would have been astonished, today it seems everything is up for grabs. The "have nots" want to be up there with the "haves" whether they can or can not. I sure hope the pups are safe and NOT being traded for drugs.

holy crap! right out of your own yard? were you home? Some people just dont have a heart! So sorry, I sure hope you find out who did this, do you live in a neighbor hood? I would be watching out for them!

I would keep a close watch on the wanted ads on the net and in the local newspapers in your area. They could have been stolen for a variety of reasons but my guess would be 1. Christmas Presents, or 2. Selling them for money to buy Christmas! The nerve of people :mad: , I know how you feel, we just lost a new Dobie puppy we had for 2 weeks because of someone poisioning him, hope you find them and hope those people get whats coming to them!

I don't know what kind of prank it was.....BUT....my babies are coming home. A nice man that lives about 2 miles from us just came by and said the pups showed up at his home. I don't see how they could have stayed together that far unless they were dumped out together by his house.
The main thing is they are safe and coming home and all of you who prayed for us I just want to thank sooo much.
