Wrecked the honda, on the way to ER
 
Hey guys.... yesterday afternoon some guy in a big Toyota truck slammed into the side of my Honda CRV:( I was not hurt seriously... but My POOR CAR!!!!

Well I could hardly sleep and am heading to the ER this morning to get checked out.. Somethings not right....

I'll post when I get home... Please pray for my car! Its fully paid for!!! lol Oh and its ok to throw a word or two in there for me....;)

I'm sure everything is ok, but I am having sharp pains deep in my abdomen and my lower back stabs when I move??? A few other things hurt two but those are the worst... Anyway... Like I said.. I'm sure Its nothing, just better safe than sorry!

I still can't believe what happened?? You sounded like you were in some pain yesterday ... I'm glad you're going to the ER to get checked out!! Let me know what happens when you get home.

Definitely better to get checked out rather than leave it. Hope everything is okay (nothing serious) and you're just feeling the pains of having been jolted a bit...

girl your car can be fixed you need to worry about you 1st! did you get all that person's info that ran over you? if anything happens they should be held responsible! i hope your ok !!!

Cars can be replaced...people can't. That's what the EMT told me when we were hit a couple years ago. You have to get checked out...sometimes the injuries you can't see are worse than the ones you can see. If they give you something for pain please use it...believe me...on about day 3 you're going to lock up when the adrenalin wears off! My sister told me I would but I thought she was goofy because I felt fine but I was walking through the living room one morning and I started feeling like the tin man in the Wizard of Oz...I needed oiled! Good luck...I hope everything is fine and you feel better soon.

OH NO Kathryn!! I hope you are okay and feeling better. Like others have said, your car can be replaced. I hope you got the person's info. That person or the company is responsible. We're sending good vibes your way. I hope you are feeling better today. Hopefully you can just relax around the house for the rest of the week.

They say your body will never be the same after a car accident. I hope that is not going to be the case for you. Please get yourself thoroughly checked . . . am just so glad you are okay.

Go see a chiropractor. Pain meds will only mask the pain.

Soooo true! I am going to have to have a operation from a car wrek that happened when I was 18 I'm 34 now. I developed arthritis in my shoulder. Not good in my line of work:mad:

Gosh I hope everything checks out okay. The second day is always rough. You feel all the things that didn't kick in on the first day. I was tboned about 18 mos ago and it was soo scary. I just hope your okay. I know you must be shaken up. Don't worry about the car! If you want to hear some stories to make you feel better about your car...ask and I'll tell you some...They'll make you laugh. Please update us on your health!!!

Hey Everyone.....Kathryn wants me to update you all. She will be spending the next 24 hours in the hospital for observation.

She had been complaining of pain in her lower right abdomen and after scans and x-rays and tests and such, the trauma surgeon on duty(one of the guys that helped save her aunt Cameron), said he saw a "mass" that resembled the appendix in the scans...BUT, since Kathryn had her appendix removed when she was a kid, so it is obviously something else.

His feeling is that she may have experienced some mild internal bleeding and wants to keep her for observation to make sure she is safe and make sure it doesn't get any worse. At this point he feels there is a good chance that it will rectify itself and the odds of needing surgery at this point are pretty small.

I knew it, I just knew it!! She sounded like she was in a lot of pain on the phone last night and I kept telling her to go to the ER!! I just knew it! Brian thanks so much for the update!! Please give Kat a give hug from me and tell her I'll talk to her tomorrow. I'd call her tonight but I'm sure she wants to get some rest.

Cars can be replaced ... insurance will cover it ....

OMG!!! I just read this!!!

I am sooooo sorry that this happened Kathryn! I hope everything works out w/ your tests! I am glad that they are keeping you though.....it can't hurt to have everything checked out!

Don't worry about the car or the kids or the furbabies! You know that they will all be fine. Just worry about getting yourself well again!

Please keep us all updated!
