I am a Christian and have been since I was 13. I have not always lived a wonderful life since that time. I have fallen by the wayside several times, but my Lord was always there to help me back to my feet, brush me off and send me on my way again. He is always there when I call on Him...He always answers prayer - not always like I want, but He always answers me. A lot of people are scared away from Christianity by hypocrisy...there will always be hypocrits in church...but you have to keep your focus on Him and not what others do. Personally, I cannot imagine life without the Lord...I love Him...He saved me...He forgave me...He still forgives me...and He loves me back! We attend a non-denominational church and are members of the Christian Motorcycle Association. Our ministry is not in the church...it is in the secular world...there is a huge need out there. |
Born and raised a proud Catholic. We've had a lot of negatives things happen in our lives which God has helped us through. |

I believe that God is LOVE and that he gave his all for us, his son Jesus. Together through this life they are always with us to provide us with the wisdom to know what the will of God is through the path we choose to follow. My belief has always been to have love for one another, regardless of what race, religion or nationality anyone is, that we are all God's creation. I pray daily for the needs of all man kind and especially for the leaders of all countries throughout the world, that they will lean to the real leader being that of God and look to him for answers to problems that arise. I have found such peace within myself through my years in this life in asking for God's guidance every day. When I ask him for his help in getting tasks done, boy does he know how to help me push on :) I am so thankful that I came to know God at an early age in my life. I am nearing 70 now in this life but I know in my eternal home there will be no age as we all will have new bodies and no health issues to deal with and no bills to pay, no wordly possesions, these and all things are only temporary. What really matters is knowing Jesus gave his all when he died for me on the cross and arose to go on to be with God to help prepare our heavenly home. I continually thank God each day for the blessings he has given to me, recently one being that of giving me back my sight, after having a stroke and seeing nothing but black for 4 and half hours. This life is not an easy one, but through all the pain we must go through none compares to that of how Jesus suffered on the cross when he gave his all for us. I too believe that there is a garden there for our pets to frolic in and Cassie is there amongst all our other pets, and that one day we will all be together forever and ever. To whom ever reads this, peace be unto you and may each and every day be one that is of good will towards yourself and others. Patti |

dont mind me asking...what is that? |
I am a Christian and I don't really believe in the splitting up of the faith, so I follow the bible. What I read, not what someone chooses to tell me. and I believe that most religions are praying to the same God, we all just have a different name. I love prayers from anyone! Some people might no I was agnostic/athiest for a LONG time until I had gotten to a really bad place in my life, and was very sick and God helped me and told me that it was ok to believe. and I guess I am a little evangilest because I enjoy spreading my faith to people who WANT to learn, I'd never force it on anyone! (except my cousins.) Agnostic is when you really are undecided and don't know what to believe, and you think we'll NEVER know until we die. So you would rather not worry about it, and you usually think that if there IS a heaven and hell then it isn't based on each sin, it's based on if you were a good person as a whole, or a bad person, like a serial killer. |
I have a dictionary meaning here..so I worded it properly... * One who believes that it is impossible to know whether there is a God. * One who is skeptical about the existence of God but does not profess true atheism. * One who is doubtful or noncommittal about something. My own feelings about being agnostic.. An agnostic isn't sure about the existance of God/god, but is open to the possibility that god/God exists. I myself do believe in a higher power...not God/god. I am a Christian, but I do not believe in organized religion. I disagree with what most churches preach. I believe that they just don't get it. IMO The bible is a rule book for each of us to use as a guide on how to live, not a book for a few people to use to tell the rest of us what we are doing wrong. Now don't misunderstand, I have nothing against enforcing the law. But there is a big difference between crimes against man and sins agains God. People can deal with crimes, but sins are God's territory. Our sins are between ourselves and God. I'm writing a book about this. |

Many people use the bible to point out oyther people fault, completely ignoringdf "judge not, lest ye be judged" "Vengence is mine sayeth the Lord" And "let he who is without sin cast the first stone" I also don't believe that God will change a situation, he can only change you in how you deal with or handle, the situation, but you have to ask for his help. |
I believe in god but dont feel i have to go sit in a pew in a church for an hour and listen to somebody elses interpretation of it. I have god in my heart and that should be good enough sor everybody.. Jesus didnt preach in a church he walked the earth...... That and i have found that church going ppl ( NO OFFENSE TO ANYBODY) are the most judgemental. atlaeast they are here. |
Thanks for sharing. Thrills my heart to hear you tell of what God has done in your life. I, too, desire it for all.:) Quote:

Unfortunately, Good Christians, and Good Church goers are not necessarily the same group of people. Just because you don't go to church does not mean you aren't a good Christian. And just because you do go, does not mean that you are. |
What a beautiful witness you have. Thank you for sharing.:) Quote:

Isn't that an amaszing feeling. You know you have connected and God has taken over when you feel the weight has been lifted off of your shoulders, and It's just like somone just turned on a light. Everything looks different. |

An agnotic believes there is a higher being but they don't necessarily believe in God. The Luthren religion is a spin off of the Catholic religion. Martin Luther started the religion because he did not believe that rich people should be able to buy absolutiodn while the poor man had to be punished for his sins. |
I was raised Luthren but married a Catholic. My three children were raised Catholic.I had no problems with this since both religions are similar. I learned the Catholic religion to teach my children so they could get through their sacraments. To me as long as you believe in God and be the best human being you can be nothing else matters. I say my prayer's at night and thank Him everyday for my family and health. If more people believed in Him our world would be a much better place to live in! |

I am christian but a branch off, I am Mormon or LDS (Latter Day Saints) And I do believe in god the Eternal father and in his son jesus christ and in the holy ghost, Amen. |
Christian/Penecostal |
I am a Latter Day Saint... Mormon... So is my Husband and his other three wives... lol ;) Just kidding... I've heard all of the jokes.. Its a great story so I'll tell it... We are converts, not raised Mormon, but not converted in quite the way most would think..... My daughter was 6.. She had experienced a lot of loss on her fathers side of the family (my husband is her step father since she was 1 year old) And after funeral #3 she started asking me about heaven and god and where her grandpa was... I was not raised with a stich of religion so I had no answers for her.. I shrugged her off and changed the subject every time it came up... one day she came running into the kitchen and yelled out, "Mommy, Mommy!!! The TV has a DBD!!! Its about Jesus!!" I was a bit taken back.. But she was very excited! And she went on to tell me that "It has the answers!!! It is going to tell me about God Mommy!!! And its FREE!!! All you have to do is call" So I told rolled my eyes and told her that the next time the ad came on to let me know... and she told me that she had the number! That she wrote it down!!! And sure enough.. in crayon... on the back of my electric bill.. she had the 800 number... So I took it and threw it aside and said I would call it later.. and she protested.. NO! You have to call now! I was really getting annoyed now.. so I grabbed the phone and dialed.. It was the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints!!!! The White Shirt Mafia!!! Oh no!!! So I gave them my address to send the dang tape! and then came the question that would be the deal breaker!!! "When would be a good time for the Missionaries to come by to deliver the Video and speak to you and your family?" What??? was she kidding?? Come by??? NO!!!!! Mail it!!! My daughter said noting about anyone coming by!!!! So I told them that this thing was not for me!! It was for my 6 year old!!! And she insisted that they would just drop it by... So I gave in and gave a time... And the visits began.... The first visit was just two missionaries and my 6 year old! And it lasted two hours!! lol And they left dazed! She had talked their ears off and asked questions they were not prepared for! So they asked if they could come back and Katie begged... So I said sure... And I started sitting in with her... And we started attending, and when she was 8 she was baptized... and a year later my husband I were too.... A six year old child converted our family... My husband would have nothing to do with it till Katie decided to be baptized and then he started to pay attention... and I can't tell you what a difference it has made in our lives... It has strengthened our family so much. I am so thankful that we have Heavenly Father in our lives. Brian and I plan to have our family sealed in the temple and would also like to be remarried and sealed to eachother. We did not have a proper wedding, so it would be nice to do this eventually.. I think that no matter the religion as long as you do good with your life and your goal is returning to heavenly father someday, and your living a life that will make that possible.... you can hold your head high no matter what label you give yourself! I'm Proud to be a Latter Day Saint... Even with all the Jokes.... Heck, what I wouldn't give for a few other wives... There sure is plenty of housework to go around! ;) |

When you believe in God you have a good retirement plan that comes a long with believing and when you dont, what is it that you have??? Why not just give in and take the offer. He's waiting for you....... My best friend prayed for me for 8 years, I was very stubborn, I was judgmental of all Christians and I did not want to be one of them. I was a hard case to crack. But all the time I was resisting God in my life I could feel him trying to win me over. I am so glad my friend and God did not give up on me. Debbie Ray |
