I failed my road test :( I couldn't believe it! I've been driving since I was 16. Everyone tells me how good I am i've even driven to airports, the end of the island, through traffic, and tight streets. So I went today to take the test and i'm doing so good then the jerk cause thats what I have to call him says parallel park behind this car..i'm thiking ok I can do this..so I start parking and I was a little too far out so like everyone else does I go and fix it. I fixed it and I was lined up with the cars infront of me and he opens the door and goes..oh your still too far out. :eek: I was thinking..why did he have to open the door to see I was too far out why didn't he just look in the mirror like he expected me to do? and when he opened the door he didn't even let me see how far out it was. Which I doubt it was very far unless he wanted me to park on the curb. If you fail parallel parking which I shouldn't have, its automatic failure. I was sooo mad and I threw a fit lol like usual. Didn't get me anywhere but atleast I didn't walk away with any regrets. :( now I get to wait another month before I try again. |
oh I'm so sorry to hear you didn't passed...parallel parking is very hard...I lived in florida for a few years when I was young and took my road test there...you didn't need to know how to parallel park....to this day I still can't do it right...just keep on practicing I'm sure next month you'll have your license |
Oh man, that sucks! Well practice up on your parallel parking for the next month! And I'll hope for you that you don't get the same jerk for a tester. |

Don't worry! you'll pass it next time! I know parallel parking is hardddd. I live in Florida and like jager said, I wasn't tested on that. The test was sooo easy, but now, if in some place I have to parallel park :eek: it takes me soooo long!!!! |

I failed my very first driving test at 16 yo, due to the parallel parking -- like you, I wound up with a driving evaluator that made things worse. But now, many years later, I too, live in Florida and do not have to do it. Maybe that was fate, huh? Did we all move to FL to get away from Parallel Parking? lol! Good luck with the next one or just come on down to Florida and join the rest of us who hate to parallel park!:car: :ip: |

That means that you take a driving test every two years??? In Indiana, we just go take a vision test every four years and that's it. You'll do fine next time...just practice, practice, practice.:) |
