I used to drink alot in college, but after I got married I started getting all red and blotchy whenever I drink alcohol. I don't itch or anything, but everyone stares! So I just don't drink anymore. I know what you mean about your body changing. I was never allergic or had sinus problems in my life until I turned 24 We moved from upstate NY to CT and I started getting these HORRIBLE headaches. I took Tylenol or aspirin and nothing helped. I seriously thought I might have a brain tumor or something. My friend was a nurse and she suggested I take a sinus medication and I laughed at her and said I didn't have any sinus issues, but I tried it anyway. I wanted to kiss her feet! I got relief right away. It seems like the older I get the more trouble I have with allergies and sinuses. |
Shana, it could also be something you're combining. My MIL has problems when she has shellfish and alcohol in the same meal. |
My daughter got hives so bad I took her to the emergency room. He told me to watch her breathing because it could close up her throat and she'd stop breathing. Scared the bejeebies out of me. I made her sleep with me for 2 nights so I could hear her breath. |

Cumulative exposure. I think its just nature's way of telling you, "You've had enough of that"! As our environment worsens, our allergies & sensitivities will probably do the same. :( |
