| Argh!!!!!!!!!! you know that preacher guy that goes around with his little group and demostrates at funerals?? They are in MY town right now! A soldier from a nearby town got killed in Iraq and so hes here with his little followers.. I think if you want to protest a war thats fine but not at a funeral! He's from Topeka Kansas I found out. Their mayor called ours and said hes sorry that a worthless human being like him is coming from his city to ours....We have that freedom bike club here too....they have blocked off 3 blocks in every direction of the funeral home and theres 10 state troopers and out police plus the 175 or so biker guys.. MY husband wants to just kick his A$$!!! Losers!!!!!!!! |

| They were here in Lubbock a couple months ago at a soldiers funeral. There's only about 10 - 12 of them. (mostly 1 family), and the sad thing is, half were children! Can you imagine a 6 yr. old holding a sign and wearing a t-shirt that says God Hates Fags. Yea, they believe our soldiers are being killed as punishment for the military letting gay people in the military.. Fortunately, the bikers came here too and everytime the small group of protesters started singing or chanting, the bikers just started up the bikes. Never heard a word they said! They left early! Here in Texas there is now a law that prohibits protesters getting closer that 300 yards from the family. There was also a couple thousand people there holding flags, including my son and his 2 friends that just finished their 4 years in the Army with the last year being in Iraq. (The worst year of my life!) My son had heard about the people several months ago and needless to say, he would very much have liked to use a little of his infantry training on them. Besides, like I said, here there were only a handful, one man, hiding behind "his women and children". They're just really pathetic!!

| We passed a similar law here in Oklahoma. As a person who spent 13 years in the military, I am appalled at what they are doing. In my opinion they can leave the USA and go find another country to live in. |

| They are NUTS and they make me SOOOOOO MAD! I saw a news program with them on a while back, and my blood was boiling. I'm not a violent person AT ALL, but I just want to crawl into the tv set and slap some sense into them. Having freedom of speech is fine and dandy, but to use it to hurt those who have nothing to do with what they're against, is COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS! Go FREEDOM FIGHTERS!!!!

| Please let us know how things go. I don't think the "leader" was here for the funeral, but since you're closer, I'm just wondering how many will show up. I'll be interested in hearing about the "little surprises". Hope they don't get close to the family, they just don't need their kind of crap right now!!!
