Patti (BabyBlessing) needs our prayers right now I was talking to my dear friend Patti (BabyBlessing) this evening and she is in need of our support and prayers. Patti has been having constant problems with her vision and last night awoke to find most of her vision gone. How terribly frightening that must have been. She has been to the doctor and they are going to be doing some tests to try to find out the source of the problem. Her vision has returned, but it is poor right now. Dear Patti has so much on her plate...dealing with her vision and also giving 100% of herself to her loving husband, Jack, who suffers with Parkinsons disease. She is maintaining her home all on her own, so has little time to relax and de-stress. She will be taking a little break from Yorkietalk, understandably. Please, YT'ers...if you could keep Patti in your prayers, I know it would mean so much to her. Knowing the collective power of prayer, we may be able to help Patti through this difficult time. Thanks everyone |

Oh no !!! That's very sad to hear - and GET WELL WISHES TO YOU Patti and you too Jack....my dad has parkinsons and I know how much is involved in helping someone with that illness....How scary and prayers coming directly to you right now !! IF there is anything I can do will someone let me know ?? sending lots of hugs and I really hope they can find out why this is happening to you. |
Val - thank you so much for this update. Patti, I know you have great faith. Draw on that now and hold it deep in your heart. You will get through whatever comes your way. Oh my goodness, I can only IMAGINE how SCARY that must have been for her! I have extremely bad vision myself, and am CONSTANTLY having problems with my eyes (my mom also had a detached retina a few years ago and had to have MAJOR eye surgery, and I inherited her bad eyes) so I know how it feels when you can't see hardly anything at all :( It is NOT pleasant by ANY means... I will most definitely be keeping her in my thoughts and Prayers! |
