Cali Countdown!!
 

Is it too early for a countdown?? :p :p

I was originally going to pick up Cali on Novemberr 4th and fly home on the 5th. But I changed my schedule and pushed it one week back. So now I am flying there on Saturday, November 11th, staying with Kat and her family over night (how generous is she!!) and coming home on the 12th. :p

The reason I altered my schedule is because I'd like to take a few days off when Cali comes home. Plus, the next 2 days will be very hard for me and it will help having a new baby to focus on. November 13th will be 1 year since my precious Katie girl passed away and November 14th will be 1 year since my mother (RIP mommy) passed away. I am going to take off those 2 days and maybe Wednesday (the 15th) from work.

So let the Cali countdown begin!! Including today, there are 32 days until I go get Cali!! YAYAYAYAYAYAY!!! :D :D I'm so excited!! I can't wait!! The first time I ever contacted Kat about Cali was June 22nd ... and I've been waiting ever since!! :p I'm at the point now where sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night because I'm so anxious!! I think I may pass out when the plane lands and I finally get to the Palm Springs airport!! LOL! :D

WOOHOO!!! These next 32 days are gonna just fly by and before you know it, you will be holding that itsy, bitsy, tiny bundle in your arms! I'm so excited for you and can't wait til you get her home. Pictures, take LOTS of pictures:):) And I agree with your decision to push it back a week - Cali will be just the thing you need to help you during those 2 days!

It's never too early to start a coundown. Hehhe It is 1 month and 26 days before Cricket can come home =) I even had a countdown ticker from tickerfactory.

Thanks. :p Kat is supposed to send me a few new pictures today or tomorrow. As soon as she does I'll post them ... or rather I'll beg someone to post them for me because I don't know how to do it. :p :p

I agree it is never to early for the countdowns to begin.

I have been on pins and needles for so long. Like the Mervyns commercial OPEN OPEN OPEN, instead it is WAITING, WAITING, WAITING.
But it is now just 2 weeks from today!!!!!

She is barely over 1 lb and she still can't fit into the clothes -- they're too big for her. :( But she's so feisty for such a small baby!! :p

I know!!!! Thats the funniest thing ever!!!! How Tiny is that dawg!!! Thats how Jen says it! Dawg! you know... cause she's from NY! lol But seriously!!! Thats it!!! And if you think she's getting any bigger..... think again! The last Super Tiny from the previous litter topped out at 1lb and 6 ounces.... not even an pound and a half! So would somebody please call the Paramedics and have them meet us at the Airport! She is going to hit the floor when she sees her for real!!!! I seriously think she has NO CLUE!!!! how small her new baby really is.... Judging from the cloths she keeps sending...She is in some MAJOR denial!!!!!

I just can't find anything tiny enough to fit her!!! :D :D

I need to try again, I just havent had the chance yet. But I sure do love a challenge and makign clothes for a hampster size dog is a fun challenge :p Maybe you can buy barbie clothes and she could probobly fit in them, lol. OOOoooohhhhh you need to buy cali a pink barbie jeep to ride around in:D

Oh I think if you buy a baby girl's frilly sock and cut the toe out, you'd have quite the cute little dress. LOL Cali is a doll!

haha my girl is just super tiny. I guess I don't even realize her size myself because all the clothes I send Kat are always too big!! :D :D I told her to bring smelling salts to the airport for me!! :p :p I MAY FAINT!! :p
