| And the woman saves the day! So, our remodel is coming along nicely...the bed is being returned to the master bedroom today and the master bath is looking great. Yesterday the new corner shower was installed...clean, shiny new glass, white sidewalls and brushed nickel trim and hardware...I love it! It took a couple of days to get it installed and finished all the way around with the drywall, paint etc... Well, the guys heard a leak while downstairs but couldn't see it, they thought for sure they would have to remove the whole shower to get to the plumbing behind the wall...not good! So, they're downstairs listening and trying to find the source of the leak and hubby tells me to go upstairs and see what's going on. LOL! I get up there and the shower head is leaking on the bottom of the shower and then it occurs to me...that's what they're hearing! I turn off the handle and ask them if they can still hear the drip...they say; no, it's gone! Imagine that! They're thrilled that they don't have to tear out the shower and basically redo the bath again...I want a raise but the contractor and my husband both said I was 'priceless' so I guess that's enough for me I love it when I get to help! |
