I just went to DisneyWorld about a month ago. :D The Rainforest Cafe is REALLY neat. I'm not a huge fan of the food (I am very picky when it comes to food) but the inside is really really neat, so I would recommend that as well. Also, we went to dinner at the France restaraunt (I forgot the name of it) and the food/service was so good. :) Another night we went to the Mexico restaraunt but I didn't really like the food, but the building that it was in was really neat. Also, I ate at Tony's Town Square at the Magic Kingdom and the food was HORRIBLE. At MGM Studios, I had dinner at the Hollywood Brown Derby which was really good as well. Also, I have heard that the Coral Reef restaraunt is really neat but they (along with most of the popular restaraunts) book up pretty quickly. I would suggest to try to make reservations as soon as possible. As far as rides and such, I'd suggest getting fast passes to them and using that time to walk around/shop/and ride the less popular rides. We did that and never waited it line over 10-15 minutes and rode everything.. some things twice. If you are staying at a DisneyWorld Resort, take advantage of the perks. While you may have to wait in a line a bit for the busses that go to the park, it's well worth it. Take advantage of Extra Magic Hours. We went whenever we could and the only time it wasn't really benefitical was at Animal Kingdom and that's because a lot of the animal things (The Safari ride, the Asian tiger part, etc.) closed at the normal time. However, we were able to ride on the new ride that was there with little wait. I would def. suggest it. It was really fun! I'd also recommend Downtown Disney.. they have a lot of neat shops and stuff there that are open late. They even have a little dog and cat boutique-type store that has a lot of cute things.. I got three really nice bowls from there that were on clearance. :) I actually was dreading going (after having gone a few times in the past) but I actually really enjoyed myself, although I while say it gets a little tiring after about 5 or so days. I would LOVE to go back for Christmas this year though. Have fun! |
I'm so happy for you!! I went to WDW in May and had the time of my life. My friend took me and it was my first time there. :D We ate in Mexico the first night, it was GREAT!! you should go there!! We went to Epcot every day because our hotel was right behind it, so it was within walking distance which was awesome. we also ate in Italy. We also ate at the Rainforest Cafe in downtown Disney. The food was really good and everyone was incredibly friendly! In Animal Kingdom you HAAAVE to ride the new rollar coaster, Expedition Everest. I didnt' like rollar coasters at all until I went on that one! I was terrified waiting in line, but it was AWESOME. |

It's been so long ago, I can't even remember what all we got or did......BUT did make a HUGE scrapbook, so might have to go through it again! Anyway........have fun and be safe! Please keep posting your DW hints and tips.......I love reading them! |
