Say a prayer for CHOPSTIX! Monday 18=SURGERY DAY, last posted! All the money was raised for her surgery, but prognosis was iffy, so for now I guess all we can do to help is send her all our GOOD VIBES, PRAYERS, and WELL WISHES, for the vet to have wisdom and skill, and for her little legs to heal and grow strong again!!! GO CHOPSTIX, GO! I know I for one will be on pins and needles waiting for the update on how things went! |
Little Chopstix is never far from our thoughts! That's one of the most heartbreaking situations I think I have ever seen. We will definitely be praying for this little one! Please keep us updated. |
ohh man i hope she makes it poor little girl deserves sooo much better i could only hope whoever did that to her their legs both get broken i know a little much but they probably haven't given that poor baby a second though! |
Chopstix, sweetie, you made it this far even with all the abuse you had. I know you can make it thru this surgery. I wish you could know how many people have come together to help you make it to a forever home where you will get all the love and attention you never had before. You deserve so much better. We are sending prayers for a successful surgery and for a start on your road to recovery. You are such a precious little thing than never had a chance to defend yourself. Please, God, let this little girl have a chance to be a real puppy and run in the grass and play with toys and be hugged whenever she wants and especially to be able to give puppie kisses to the loving family that gets to adopt her. Surgery got resceduled for Wednesday Here's is what the update says: "Due to some unfortold obstacles, Chopstix did not have her surgery this morning. The plates and pins wont be arriving to the vet until late this afternoon. Dr. Bentley has a patient tommorow that will take most of his day, so Chopstix is on the books again for Wednsday morning. Everyone keep your fingers crossed, Chopper has her stix crossed." |

What a sweet little soul she is. I hope her surgery goes ahead today and that it gives her use of her legs. Poor little thing...it just angers me so much that a helpless little spirit like this has to go through so much. |
