andrea yates should be drowned herself not wasting tax payers money sitting around being taken care of . they shouldn't have had soooo many kids! i probably wouldn't have recoginized him but how could he just move on after something like that ? i don't get it! but i guess that's the only choice one has either move on or peril? i'm at a loss but i sure as heck wouldn't ever leave my child alone with someone i think to be mentally unstable who may even think of hurting them! i'm sure he had to know something ! did you say anything? i wonder if this "new wife" knows? i'm sure she has to know something?

You know I have a major problem with this post potarum depression crap anyways. I understand ppl may have some issues but having 4 kids and than on the 5th saying well i got post partum depression..yeah right. shes a waste of space that needs to go to the electric chair not some facility where are tax dollars are taking care of a friggin murder. a child murder at that. Those kids didnt have a chance to even live some life they were killed by a person they trusted and loved and she just went and drowned them... ok im going to stop now or im just going to get very irrate,....:mad: :mad: :mad:

From what I've read and heard her husband was aware of her problems and she had been seeing a doctor. In fact she had just been to her doctor a few days before this happened. So you have to ask; is the doctor also responsible somewhat for not recognizing her severe mental problem, afterall that is why she was seeing him!

There is allot of blame to go around in this case, but it doesn't change anything. Those precious children are gone and it could have been prevented!!

I hope they have a conscience and it prevents them from ever enjoying any part of their miserable lives. BTW, I too wouldn't have said anything, I probably would have left the bar though. I couldn't stand to see him, makes me sick to my stomach.

I saw a TV special on this..right before the drowning happened, her doctor took her off of the medicine she was on. She was having hallucinations and schitzophrenic episodes. She was very very mentally ill...it had more to do with that than post partum depression. She told her interviewer that she thought the devil would take her children from her if she didn't kill them and send them to heaven. She believed she was saving them. Its all very sad..

i still can't fathom how you could kill your own child crazy or not you can't tell me anything that would even begin to make me understand doing that much less with 5 kids! she called the police right after she did it and told them what she had done i think that anyone who takes anothers life should lose there's the same way eye for an eye not sit around wasting our money and trying to make pleas or deals or get off on technacalitys or after serving time! ughhhhh.

I hope she drowns and dies the same way she tortured those poor kids :mad: :thumbdown I have NO sympathy for people like that, I don't care how mentally unstable. This country eats up our taxes for a reason, THERE'S HELP FACILITIES EVERYWHERE not to mention our jails which we pay for are crowded with pieces of trash people like her and Scott Peterson.

Besides the mental instituation she should have been sentanced to having her uterus taken out because she doesn't deserve to be called a mother ever again. :mad: :thumbdown I would get SO MAD if she had more kids after taking the lives of her sons!

UUGGG>.that would just put me over the edge I think....any woman that kills her kids should be sterilized that goes for woman that leaves their children or harms them in any way!! I have no sympathy for perople like her at all. she will get whats coming to her..hopefully shell just die and that will be the end of it!!!!!

There are alot of mentally unbalanced people who dont kill their kids. i think she knew exactly what she was doing. She dragged those children one by one and drowned them. She deserves to be put to death

I'm not even a mother and I can't fathom putting a child to death, especially in such a cruel way. To be quite frank I think tooooo many people use insanity as a reason for their stupidity, like killing kids, or anyone, doing drugs, cheating, stealing, abusing ect. It's pathetic. I wouldn't be surprised that may 1% of those who claim it are the only ones who actually are, if even that,even then killing someone especially a child is unforgiveable. I hope she rots in hell :thumbdown

I think what she did was VERY wrong. But has anyone here had somebody they loved very much that has been mentally ill?? Has anyone seen a beautiful mind?? Mental illness is not easy to understand.

It doesn't make what she did right. And I think the worst part is people knew that she was ill and they let her still take care of FIVE children all by herself. I'm sure the guilt must eat at that father everyday!
