i have the real thing called the furminator. I was curious if the shed ender worked it looks a little similar to the furminator but costs ALOT cheaper then the one I have http://www.furminator.com/testbed/indexnew.html I have the yellow one. I dont think I would use this on a yorkie though... Its pulling out the undercoat and yorkies dont have an undercoat like a double coated dog. I can tell you its great on my german shepherd |

Its a little small like I said and it doens't get ALL the shed hair out. The furminator looks 2 times the size..if i'm seeing the same one as you. This thing is like 2" big. |
It was only 10 dollars though so it wouldn't hurt to try it yourself if your really interested..i'd send you mine but with shipping it wouldn't be worth it. |
1 Attachment(s) It looks like it has the same blade as the Shed Ender... I'll find a picture for you.. Looks JUST like this but thats not the Shed Ender |

No my yorkies dont shed.. My german shepherd, the cat and my long haired chi do however. Yes the furminator is bigger then the one seen on TV. The other groomer at the shop has the smaller one and we switch if I need the smaller or she needs the bigger depending on the dog. The blue one is more similar size wise to the one seen on tv |
I did see the blades are the same but in my opinion I think the more expensive one is more comfortable to use. Im using the furminator in a grooming shop setting and grooming several dogs a day whereas your using the littler one at home and probably is fine for home use. Today alone I think I used it on like 3 shepherd mixes that came in to be groomed today, well yesterday lol |

Doggy Steps at Walmart I bought those and then had to take them away from Little Bit. She would use them to get on the couch, but then she'd just keep climbing & when she wanted off, she'd just jump I don't think she knew the steps went both ways. Little Bit is gorgeous but I don't think she's the sharpest knife in the drawer. :) Quote:

Lucky you! Is it like an outlet store? Quote:

When I used to cut hair, I had to fix alot of flobee haircuts, how funny haven't thought of that for years. My father in law loves those commercials and the products. He used to buy them and give them to us for Christmas. I had to finally make my husband tell him that we didn't use those products because they don't work like on TV. (I felt bad) But he was spending alot of money on those things. Right before my husband and I got married my father in law bought me this Monogramed purse (with my maiden name) with a light up mirror in it, and a "magic wallet" (remember those?) I was mortified, my grandmother wouldn't have even used it. and I was 21 at he time.:) |

They do make a flowbee type thing that goes on your clippers for grooming the dogs. I wonder if the flowbee would work just as well for puppy cuts. Nancy M. |

I bought a wolfgang puck food processor/mixer and I love it!! Its small and compact so its worth using. Sometimes with the big food processors its such a drag to take it out of the cabinet and once your done wash it and put it away, it seems easier to just chop the stuff with a good ol knife. But not with this baby........Ill give it:thumbup:  |
I bought the magic bullet too. It's really just a tiny blender. A tiny crappy blender is more accurate. I got 2 for the price of one. Never again!!!!!! |
just ordered the sonic blade, its an electrics knife... works great. got two for the price of one... total with shipping 140.00 dollars. im a jerk |
i wanted to share this with you all because it is a great price for pet stairs take a look http://www.doggysteps.com/ |

Ok, I got three of these at Bed, Bath and Beyond for 19.99 a peice and they are very easy to put together, very lightweight, and you can take off the sheepskin lining to clean it. I love them. I have one by our bed, by a loveseat in the study and by the loveseat in the living room. Millie uses all three of them. At first I thought they were a little low, but Millie uses them just fine. (our bed is not one of those really tall beds so it works, but if you have one of those, you may need to get the 4 step one). |

Thanks :) I actually found them at the mall at the "as seen on tv store" and I did not like them..........they are super small and well, not worth the price IMO. However, hubby made me 2 sets and carpeted them and they came out fantastic  I know, I am just TOO picky.............lots of people in here have them and LOVE them ;) Jess |
i've bought a few infomerical crap back in the days like this bbq pit that is collapsible and uses newpapers rather than charcoal. what a diaster!!! on the other hand, i have also purchased the magic bullet and the doggy steps and i like them both. i use my magic bullet a lot to make smoothies in the morning. it's a lot easier than to break out with a big blender just for a single serving mug. i also use it for pasta sauce for 2 too and it works well. there's a trick to using it, but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty good. not as good as the infomerical but pretty decent. the doggy steps are a bit cheap and cheesy but it gets the job done and i don't have to wait until next winter for my husband to make me one. :D so it gets a thumbs up from me too. |
I can't remeber the last thing I bought but it wasn't of the TV. Recently "as seen on tv" stores have been popping up and they have the product out so you can use it 1st. It's the greatet store I'm just in aww everytime I go. Next on my list is an infer-red(spelling) baby moniter I want it even though I have no kids yet :p |
My husband bought a Flowbee and he cuts his own hair and our Yorkie, Brandy. It works great. He doesn't use it on her head, but it works great on her body and legs. I will take pictures of both of them and will post. |
H20 x5 is magical...ordering the solar phone chargers now! Eggies are cool but ridiculously hard to clean add olive oil. Im an as seen on tv adict love this thread. Your baby can read works! |
I did buy those things you put down your drain to unclog them. They do work but dang the stuff down my drain was disgusting. I pulled that thing out and tossed and used the second one (they say you can clean it off, not going to do that ever). |
