Haha! I love plants.........but can't wait to own my own place and make it a junlge........along with tons of pets :D

I like them but not when its to a point where there is 10 diffrent kind of plants in EVERY window of you house.

I dont mine the out side having a lot of plant but inside... thats a nother story

About the doggy steps - I've got 3 sets and my boyz use them all. There are expensive ones and cheaper ones, I have both and both are just fine - I'd buy cheaper ones. If your bed it tall, you'll need the 4 steps

I got the roll out flower garden from Q.V.C and YES it is wonderful they actually bloom i got i 3 yrs ago and i get flowers from it every year and only did it one time i really recomend it!!!:thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:

I bought the doggy steps :thumbdown :eek: I was so excited..... they looked really great, they were easy to put together, seemed sturdy enough, but..... they were 3 little short podunk steps that didn't come 1/2 way up the side of the bed. Inside the box was a certificate that "entitled" the purchaser to buy a riser set for an additional $9.99. I was so mad! I bought my "as seen on tv" at walmart. I took them back.

I did and we love them! WalMart has them for less than the as seen on TV price!

Oh no! Thank you for sharing............I will look elsewhere. My husband says he will me her some. He is a construction worker and has the tools...........he just needs a little free time. ;)

ah man...my hubby wanted me to buy one of those for his mom cuz she's always whipping something up in the kitchen and he thought it would save her time...poootie! i boght the core system by gunthar??-can't remember hi last name and it worked for me when i remember to do it!! i like it becase i have bad knees and and old hernia(it's been repairs but doc orders no situps!!) it helps tone me up and gets rid of my belly bloat-takes twenty minutes-AND it don't make ya sweat!!! plus it doesn't hurt, pull, or strain any of your muscles. but when you order be sure to just get the first dvd only and make sure to tell then not to send you other dvd's cuz that's where they get ya!!! the first time i ordered it was only 14.99 with the ball, dvd, and diet plan but then two months later the other dvd came in at it was almost 50$$$!!! so i called and cancelled but it was too late to get my 50$$$ back because they had already shipped the dvd's but they aren't sending me any more dvd's till i reorder. but to tell you the truth the two dvd's i have work just fine...now if i can get a$$ of YT and go work out!!!hahahaha!!!:D :D :D BTW my hubby wants to order the crosscrunch-anybody used that one???

My last as-seen-on-TV purchase was the Maxiglide hair straightener. It cost me about $100 but it was worth every penny. It leaves my hair super straight and my hair is extremely thick and wavy.:thumbup: :thumbup:

i got it too cuz my chi and weenie-rat SHED big-time!!! it really works....my mom wanted one for her choc. lab...might be part of her b-day present!!!

I'm going to have to try the de shed thing though.

The Today show (or someone like them) did a segment on the Bullet - and it just sat there and did nothing - they gave it a big thumbs down

I simply put a box at the end of my bed with a towel wrapped around it so Monday does not slip... and she jumps on it to get up. However, to get off, she leaps from the bed ... I wish she'd use the box, so I am not sure if the steps would be good for her ... but try it first with a small box ... (not TOO small)

My dad made steps to the bed & covered them with carpet for my first Yorkie over 20 yrs ago. They have been wonderful. I now have three Yorkies that use them ALL the time. I can't even imagine not having them. I don't know about the ones you buy but I'd suggest letting your husband make them the right size. Mine has three wide steps.

my mom bought the 6 second ab workout at target, as seen on tv, well she made me buy it. Even though i told her it doesn't worok she made me. and i laugh everytime i see her do her little workouts that dont do a thing, they haven't toned her up a bit, doesn't work!

I got the one touch can opener as seen on tv from walmart and it works really great. I love it.
I do want to try the shed ender, I will have to go out and buy it and see how it works.

I gave mine away. They were too steep and Giz was too afraid to go down them. The steps weren't deep enough.

I looked up the steps last night cause I have an upside down laundry basket with a towel on it and the steps are ONLY 4" high- that's very small

I think that one has a hard plastic frame just covered by fleece. Better ones are made of foam. I did not think the plastic frame ones looked like they would last too long. They had some at Walmart in their "As seen on TV" section. I snooped in the box and decided against it. I do need to find a good buy on the foam steps or ramp though. This little Ben of mine thinks he can fly off the sofa and bed.

Ginsu Knives
 

My favorite "as seen on TV" story is about the Ginsu knives. For some reason my oldest son kept after me to order them and I finally did. He was about 13 at the time. I came home from work one day to find a mess of sliced tomatoes on the kitchen table along with a tin can cut in half. I just about had a fit -- he could have cut his fingers off! But the knives had come in the mail and he immediately wanted to see if they could cut a can in half and then slice perfect tomatoes, just like the commercial. He's a grown man now and I am thinking about getting him his own set of Ginsu knives as a gag gift for Christmas. Thanks for starting the thread and giving me the idea.

I bought the doggy steps at Target. On the back of the box it had a picture of the steps up to the bed of a truck and a small dog just jumping right in :rolleyes: There was not any measurements on the outside of the box so I didnt have anythign to go by. Well when I got home they were tiny! I do use them in my living room going up to my couch which works well. But there is no way that they are going to work for your bed unless your bed is barely off the floor!

Not sure if this was already mentioned, but I LOVE the bacon maker!!!

Nothing like super crispy bacon out of the micro. They only drawback is that your micro smells like bacon the next 7 times you use it. :rolleyes:

I have been looking for steps to make it easier for Bailey to get on our bed(right now she jumps from floor to my rocking chair to our bed)
I went looking for those doggy steps from TV, Walmart had them in an opened box, they are so small, cheap looking and expensive. I am back to looking for stairs; trying to talk my husband in to making Bailey a set.

We have the doggy steps but we bought them at a department store. Jo-Jo and Riley will run up the steps but jump down...kind of defeats the purpose except that Jo is too short to jump up. :rolleyes:

I guess I'm stickin to the upside down laundry basket with a towel on top - Chanel learned from 6 months on them and never jumps straight off the bed -but miss Cheri thinks she has wings - but we're working on it now that my bedroom finally has a tv - we may hang out in it a bit more...:) :) :)

They have them at Petsmart but they were too low for my bed. I have a very high bed with pillow top matress so it's almost 3 feet high. It cost a lot more but I got ours from PetEdge.com and I love it! The top step is about 20" and is just perfect for Jazzie. It's very sturdy and made of wood and it can be used as steps or ramps.
