They removed the breathing tubes and she is breathing on her own!!! She is also talking!!! She is a bit mixed up... but she is talking!!! they did an MRI this morning and it shows brain damage... but I knew that was coming... she also has infection in mutipule areas of her brain.... Her kidneys are still toast... and her heart is damaged... but she is alive!!!!
She demanded that they go get me.... she became very upset when she woke up and I was not right there! lol she kept telling my grand mother to go and get me! That I was right out side... To go right now and get me!
The whole week that she was out I kept telling her that I would not be very far... that they would not let me stay in her room for very long but that I was not leaving the hosp. , That I would be right outside! Just down the hall in the waiting room.... And that I'd be back just as soon as they'd let me! And it must have stuck! Cause she was serious... she said that I was right outside! (and I was not)
We talked for 2 hours!!!! Short choppy conversation, mostly questions and answers... And she has lost major chunks of her vocabulary... like a stroke but without the body issues... its only the mental... the speech... but she really thinks that she is making sense... so I'm just going with it! :rolleyes: I know what she means.... By the tone of her voice... I know her that well... But its scary... for the family that is... for me... I don't care!!!! I'm just thankfull that I had another day with her and 2 hours of serious quality time!!!!
Thank you everyone!!! Each and every prayer has been answered... I'm not saying that I am execting her to get up and walk out of there next week.... but for the first time I really feel like there is SOME hope.... Even if the facts say otherwise... she is still pretty bad off... the infections in the brain are NOT GOOD! But hey... I'll take the small blessings as they come!!!

| God does all things for his own reasons.. maybe for a testimony to draw more to him.. but God is a Healer... Faith , Faith will not just keep your Aunt alive.. But can Heal her of whatever damage that has been caused...
You can move mountains with the faith , just the size of a mustard seed...
The Lord says with his stripes you shall be healed.
Believe on it and consider it done
It also says, For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of they wounds, saith the Lord
