I seen this last night and i was in shock i didn't know what to think. We all know he is a daredevil and he takes a lot of risks but he is educated on what he does. My heart weeps deeply for Terri and his two children this is a horrific loss to them and also to preserving wildlife. He was a dedicated advocate to saving our endangered animals. This was a freak accident and it is so hard to grasp that he is gone. I am totally freaked by this. R.I.P:rip: Steve and comforting thoughts to his friends and family.:( :cry2: :cry2: :cry2: |
The Animal Kingdom has just lost a GREAT FRIEND. It is so very sad to hear of losing a true friend to animals. |
It is so sad. My husband told me about it this morning and I was in shock, I'm still in shock. It's unbelievable.:cry: |
I feel so upset! I had to call my parents, who are in Puerto Rico for vacation, to tell them the news. I didn't expect my dad to be so upset. Steve Irwin was such an amazing person to watch on tv. He was one of those people who loved animals and loved his job a lot. I feel so horrible for his 2 young children and his wife Terri. Kelly Ripa (who is from South Jersey) is also very close to Steve Irwin, so I also feel for her. I loved watching Kelly and Steve host 'Live with Regis and Kelly' together. Steve had such a spark about him. He will be missed by all! |
guish, i hated hearing this news. my son does a perfect imitation of steve. we all loved watching his shows. we will surely miss him. |
I was driving back to school last night from my house and I heard this on News Radio 780 while i was trying to check the weather. My bf and I were totally shocked. I <3ed him! This is horrible especially b/c he had so much going on. I am praying that his family can make it through this and everything will be okay.:( |
RIP Steve, this news has sent me into shock,i just cannot believe it,i was a huge fan of his and was looking forward to seeing him April 2007, as he was going to open a new enclosure at my local zoo. Dying whilst doing something relatively safe is awful, considering all he has done with crocs etc. He sure will be missed by millions :( |

I don\'t know about anyone else, but I\'m pretty much at a loss for words. He is about the last person I\'d think something would happen to. It was like his guardian angel never left his side. He\'ll be missed by so many. His love of life was so infectious when you watched him. At least he died doing his life\'s passion. I am so sorry for his family and will be praying for them. :cry8: |
what a lost This man was the king of crocks his aura was just beautiful I am soo sad it is a devastating blow to nature and its animals. May god be with his wife, kids, and his dad. Im sure he is in heaven with his mom. |
So tragic... I read it this morning and called my Mom. I\'m not even sure why it just felt like the "right" thing to do. She was shocked and saddened as well... We\'ve been watching Animal Planet all afternoon and they have his shows on and it\'s soooo sad... :( |

I couldn\'t believe my ears when I heard this! I always loved watching his show...unless it was to do with snakes...I just can\'t watch that. He was so amazing and had such character! I know I\'ll miss him dearly! |
