We have two they are 2yrs 5months apart... yah I wanted them 2yrs apart, it just didn't work that way. I love them close in age! We have one boy and one girl... perfect.. done |
Well, mine are 2 years 6 mths apart. Not planned. (now 12 1/2 & 10) My Brother's kids are 11 mths apart. Not planned. My Sister's baby just turned 1 and she's due in November. She just wanted to finish her family fast. Her's was planned.;) |
There is 33 months (to the very day and time of day both were born on the 26 day of the month right 11:00 pm) between my oldest and my youngest with one in the middle. |
i got pregnant when my second son when my first son was six months old. it was planned. i wanted to have them close in age:) after my second son was born i wanted to have a nother baby right away but for some reason i did not get pregnant with my daughter for 3 years later and 2 year atfer that my other son came along all planned.my kids are 9,8, almost 5, and 3 |
LOL...wellllll Mine are 22, 20, 17, 15, 12, 7, 6 3 girls and 4 boys. Last 3 were boys and if somebody could PROMISE me a girl I would have one more:eek: |
my boys are 14months apart my daughter and my youngest boy are 4.5yrs apart |
Mine are 6 years apart. I have 2 boys ages 16 & 10 and I'm DONE. I would have preferred to have had them closer in age but I didn't want anymore kids after my first. My second one wasn't planned but he came and I wouldn't change that for the world. He is definately a mama's boy! My fiancee wants to have one but he has 2 from a previous marriage and I think about it this way.....2+2=4 Thats more than enough! His girls are smaller so I tell him they are my birth control....lol We also now have Timmy & Mimi....so now that makes it 6! I am not going to lie I've always wanted a whole bunch of kids but it didn't turn out that way. |
My boys are 3 years apart, 16 and 13. My oldest will be 17 on January 10th and my baby will be 14 on February 10th. While in the hospital with my 2nd (and final child), my SIL asked me if the next baby would have a birthday of March 10th...LOL!! I told her there would be NO next baby! As for planning the age difference, I actually wanted them a little further apart, didn't want to "try" for the 2nd until after my oldest had actually turned 3. |
Mine are 25 months apart (2 years, 1 month). Their birthdays are 4/4 and 5/5! I actually wanted them a little bit closer in age but man, time has a way of sneaking up on you! Before you know it, your first-born is turning one year old and you're thinking that you better get started if you want them less than 2 years apart! Mine are both girls (age 12 and 10 now) and I love that age difference! The running joke was that if I could be guaranteed another girl, I would have tried again for another 2 years difference but my husband said if he could be promised a boy, we could try again. So, we called it a draw and love having the two! My best friend has 4 kids all almost exactly 3 years apart. All birthdays are in May (2 of them) and July (2 of them). I tell you, summer is hard for me when it comes to buying all those birthday presents!! |

My 15 year old is a PRINCESS and takes me BROKE!!!!!!! My hubby has a decent job but with all the kids it's not worth me working.... I would LOSE money going to work. All I can say is if you want lots of kids be prepared to GIVE UP lots unless you have money. Oh yeah and don''t even DREAM of a vacation or retirement, or a new car or EVER being caught up on bills:rolleyes: :p Oh yeah... or SLEEP:rolleyes: ON THE GOOD SIDE.. There is always lots of hugs and kisses;) |

Have you seen the family on TV, the Duggers, who have 16 kids?! |
Mine are 15 months apart. My son Brittin is 13 and my daughter Sabrina is 12. This was not planned. But it worked out for the best. They are best friends. My sister and I are the only children. She is 9 years older than me. She is my best friends now. But we barely new each other growing up. I think closer is better. |
My boys are 3 years apart. I wanted them 2, but when first son was 1 and it would be time to start trying, I was like, NO!!! I can't handle two right now!!! It was the right choice for me. Now if my second son had been born first, they would have only been born 2 years apart because he was so easy to get along with. I wouldn't have had the same reservations about brining another baby into the picture. I love the difference in ages, it's perfect for us. |
My boy and girl are 22 months apart. After being married 14 yrs we decided to start a family. I was afraid my eggs would dry up!............so we had both close.......lol. I had my girl at 35, my boy at 37. Its quite the challenge, I was used to doing what I wanted when I wanted, NO more of that! You make alot of sacrifices for your kids, money, time, they come first and its totally worth it. I have more patience then I ever had before!! I think if I was to change anything I would have had them further apart and had them at a younger age. They have lots of energy, where my energy level doesnt compare. But I think when they are older I will be so glad I had them close in age. My son is hard to handle, hes two, weighs 72 lbs and every few people can pick him up. Its hard to find a babysitter........lol If I would have started earlier I think I would have had 3 children, but spaced further apart. For those of you who have 4 to more kids...........YOU GO GIRL!......hahaha. I definitely would not be cut out for that........Im just in awe of those who can manage so many kiddos. |

lol if i have an urge to have more i will just have to adopt another yorkie instead :) no more skin-kids for me.... but maybe one or two more fur-kids when we are ready :) :) |
DANG, yorkieangle, haven't you figured out what causes kids yet?:D Just kidding, my aunt had 10 kids - 13 years between oldest and youngest!!!. I loved going to their house - always someone to play with. As for me, there are 15 years between my 2 daughters. 32 and 17. I have 3 stepchildren also, 35, 29, and 27. |
My son will be about 4.5 years old when the baby is born. It's supposed to be a girl so cross your fingers! So far I LOVE that I waited. My son got lots of special one on one time during what I feel were the most important years of his life.(I've always heard that you make or break a child by five.) He's so smart and such a great kid. He's also SO helpful. He helps pick stuff up which is great because it's getting hard to bend over. I also couldn't imagine changing two sets of diapers at the same time. It has also been easier for us financially. I do worry a little bit about how well the kids will play together since they don't have much in common but I'm sure that he'll love her anyways. |

ages Three years a part worked for me...I was born Oct 17th, my first girl was born Nov 17th and the second was due Sept 17th..she came on the 30th, I should have known then she would always be a "free thinker"... Did anyone see the TV show with the mom who had 3 sets of twins under 3 year of age..then one had two sets of triples under 3..they would have had to force me out the hospital door to leave... |
devoted to Lucy! My 2 sons are 4 years apart. It would've been nice if they were closer, but the time kind of flew by. Kim and Lucy:aimeeyork |
Mine are 18 months apart. Not planned. Since hitting their teens they pretty much hate each other. Both girls. I was hoping they would be better friends, maybe when they are older. |
