same here!!! in class once we did a major study on this and all the evidence lead up to the parents...

and out of nowhere this random guy is caught? i remember seeing her parents on TV... they looked like they were faking being sad (sorry just my opinion)..

They said on the radio this morning that she knew before she died that the police were real close to catching the killer. Atleast now she is with her daughter.

They actually said this morning that they are bringing him back to the US this week, but even though he confessed they are really going to have to do some more investigating because sometimes sickos will confess to crimes they didn't commit just to get publicity. He was on TV this morning confessing publicly to the crime. He said on TV that JonBenet's death was an "accident" and that he "loves her."

I saw him on the Today show this morning. He looks like a sick SOB. There is no doubt in my mind that he did it. I hope Bubbah wears his butt out in prison.

it gives hope to many parents/relatives of other unsolved cases... esp children

Ovarian Cancer.....they said on the Today show this morning that she was aware of this suspect before she died. At least that is somewhat conforting to know.

I agree - it is comforting to know Patsy was aware of this suspect prior to her death. I just hate that she did not live long enough to see his arrest:( As I said yesterday, I was one of those who didn't know what to believe - were the parents involved or was it someone else? But from what I've seen on the news last night and read on the internet yesterday and this morning, this sicko has confessed (or provided information) that is not known to the public, things only the person(s) involved would know about. I think because of the way the parents acted at that time, and even a few years later, there will always be that cloud of suspicion but I hope that with the arrest of this man, if he is in fact the person responsible for the death of such a beautiful, innocent child, that the cloud will begin to go away.

That is not even a possibility at this point. The man's DNA was found all over her body and all over the crime scene. It was a sex crime.

I just hope they can put a rest to this poor little girl, now maybe her mom and her can be at rest!
I think it was so sad how they drug this along for 10 years.

People like this dont even deserve the luxury of prison.

Maybe that poor little girl will finally have some peace. Too bad her mom didn't live to see this -

I really hope that guy ends up in General Population - but he'll be protected in jail - probably really be missing his perversions - but they way he looks - he'll end up being someones B*tch. (sorry - but that's the word that's used) :p We can just hope it's some BIG BOY named Bubba
