1 Attachment(s) As far as celebrities go, I met Patrick Swayze last year at a Pilates Conference (he was at the dance conference at the same venue). Photo is attached of that, though I look horrible leaning back against a table. Also met Alice Cooper at a golf outing along with Elke Summer (tons of celebs there) and John O'Hurley was staying at our hotel so we would see him around the resort. I've also met lots of yoga and pilates celebrities - Mari Windsor, Lolita SanMiguel, Rodney Yee, Sean Corne - to name a few. |
I used to go to a night club in Beaumont Texas where Tracy Byrd and Mark Chestnut both used to perform before they were discovered. Funny thing is I was not much impressed with them at the time. I have met Lori Morgan (she has spent waaayyy to much time on the tanning bed, looked quite leathery up close). When I was in Junior High, went to see Alabama in concert, they were "the thing" at the time, and I got a kiss on the cheek from the lead singer. Believe me, for an 8th grader, that was HUGE!!! Have not met George Jones, but we are friends with his brother in law. Just not alot of Stars hanging out in Southeast Texas. |
I met Muhammad ali, Laila Ali, Robert Townsend and Little richard at a charity event at the house of blues, during a trip to Cali. I also stayed at the same hotel (The Peninsula) as David Boreanaz from the WB show "angel" during the same Cali trip. Also, when I traveled with my family to Rome Italy, Naomi Campbell stayed at our hotel during fashion week. I was to awe struck to get a picture of her. I just stood their staring with my mouth open, So embarressing:( . She just smiled and struck up a conversation with my dad.She's 10 times more gorgeous in person:thumbup:OH! OH! and Grant hills parents live like 10 minutes away from me, and whenever he's visting I see him and Tamia, who's also stunningly gorgeous in person. |
i have met many. when i was 18-24 years of age, i worked at the airport. we were not allowed to ask for pictures or autographs. i guess my most famous was tom cruise. he was awesome and extremely nice, down to earth. ok let me make a list whitney houston, beach boys, cindy lauper, charlie sheen, christopher reeves (RIP) (many times, he had a beach house near here) ray charles, the first calvin klien underwear model steve thomas (also had a beach house here) all the wwf wrestler ...sting...nature boy etc... and so on and so forth |

I met Charleton Heston about 8 years ago. I bought 2 of his books and he signed them and I gave one to my mother-in-law and one to my mom. Sorry I didn't get a picture. Oh I've also met Diana Digarmo(sp) she was 2nd to Fantasia a couple of years ago on American Idol. She lives just a couple of miles from us. |

I interned at the United States Senate in 2004 and met and interacted with every single US Senator (including Hillary Clinton) minus John Kerry and John Edwards...they were out campaining. I've met Bo Jackson and his whole family and spent alot of time with them...my ex-boyfriend's family is close friends with Bo. I've also met Denis Quaid...he & his wife sat right in front of me at the Broadway show Wicked last Christmas. I've met Brian Urlacher of the Chicago Bears. Diamond Dallas Page, the professional wrestler. Trick Pony...the country music group. Mark Wills...country music singer. Pat Green...country music singer. |
ok i did not really met him but i did touch his hand it was tim mgraw i went to see him when he came to pittsburgh with his wife faith hill this past may. i had front row seat and i reach out to him when he walk down the catwalk.awww i thought i was in heaven lol i'm a huge tim fan. i do have some pics i just need to load them to my computer. one of the best day of my life. |
i met shaq (from the heat) , i met ricardo anjora's son (latin singer), shakiras parents, and i think some other people, but my memory is a little blurry... |
I have a friend who is friends with the Oak Ridge Boys, so I got to meet them. I actually answered the phone in our hotel room and it was one of them wanting us to come up and party with them. Yep - I was too chicken. That was a loooon time ago. My husband sat in a bar and drank with Trini Lopez one nite and then played golf with George C. Scott the next day. I met the Grassroots (that does give my age away) while in college. I guess that's it. I've led a pretty sheltered life. I don't get out much. Oh, our vet, when we lived in SC, was a contestant on Animal Planet's reality show a couple years ago(can't remember name of it) and was 6th to last (I think) voted off. He was also the Dixie Chick's mom(and aunt)'s vet. But we were never there at the same time. I have had alot of near-meets, and near-sees. But that's pretty much it. |
Oh, forgot a biggie - we used to own a bar and one nite Joe Diffie (country singer) walked in and sat there and drank all nite. He was dating Tanya Tucker, I think, at the time and she was performing somewhere around here. |
I worked in radio so I have met several country artists like Randy Travis, George Strait, Martina McBride, Tim McGraw, Clay Walker. I also worked at a Hip Hop station (which I loved) and met Kanye West, Pharell, Juvenile, Slim Thug, Cee Lo Green, Diddy, Calvin Richardson, Raheem Devaughn, Donnell Jones and the list goes on. I will look for some pics. I have also met several NFL and NBA players. It was fun to meet people just got tired of the job itself. |
