How do you know when to take it? I don't know what foods are causing this so am I supposed to take it daily? I hate being dependent on medicine :( |
there are instructions on it. You take it for a week staright and thats it. Just don't forget to take it. It works like antibiotics you need to be consistent with it for a week. |

I did do the exact same thing. What I have is called "GERD". I probably won't spell it right but here goes: gastro esophical reflux disease It is cause when stomach acids going back up the esophogus. There is a flap in there that is suppose to open and close and it gets stuck in the closed position. The vomiting is horrible. I didn't know what it was and it got so bad I was rushed to the hospital thinking I was having a heart attack at 2:30 in the morning. It was the pressure that caused it. Now I take a little pill and it doesn't happen any more. Moral: don't wait too long to have this checked. Thinking I was having a heart attack was scary. |

devoted to Lucy! I had the same problem and it was acid reflux along with an ulcer. I took prilosec before it went OTC and it worked great for a couple of years. It gradually became much worse and began happening every night! I finally got a THIRD opinion and found out I had gall stones. 5 years after surgery and no problemo! Hope you feel better soon! Do you eat a lot of tomato sauce? That has a lot of acid in it. My Dr. told me not to eat a lot of it. I said, "Yeah right, I'm Italian." LOL :p |
