I personally think a treadmill or an elliptical would be a great investment if you’re trying to loose fat. I can’t afford either one of those, so a gym membership works best for me. If you don’t want to go to the gym and you’re not ready to drop at least a grand, maybe you could try some videos. I love the Firm, Taebo and Pilates and my girlfriend is loosing like crazy with that new Turbo Jam. Running outdoors is great cardio and after you buy the shoes it’s free and does wonders for your stress level. Good luck and congratulations on your healthy lifestyle! :) |

1 Attachment(s) Here's my exercise equipment. We got it just a few weeks ago. My husband and I quit smoking to be able to afford the payments and it's great exercise for me to be swimming. Swimming uses almost all of your muscles so it's a great work out. So I just make sure that I swim a good bit through the weekend while were on the lake. (Like today my legs and arms are sore from swimming so much this weekend) So the point is...if you have a pool or a friend that has a pool then you can go swimming. Or if you have a local YMCA or something that you can get a pass to swim through the summer or even through the winter if there's an indoor pool. Oh man, I just realized.... What am I suppose to do throught the winter???? Crystal |
My Husband wants a treadmill so bad. He is on weight watchers diet and loses 2 to 2 1/2 lbs a week but if he walked on the treadmill he would lose 4 lbs a week. We used to have a YMCA membership and he would use the treadmill then but we cancelled it to save some money. |

You can get treadmills cheap in the local paper - or have friends check with other friends to see if someone wants to sell one |
elliptical! You can have mine 'cause I sure as hell never use it. LOL! |
You know it's funny because i could walk on a treadmill for hours no problem .. bt last about 5 seconds on elliptical because it seems like WORK to me |

OK I give UP.. How the heck do you tear your esophogus in the ab lounger. From SCREAMING at it maybe:p |

I found myself competing with my previous days number of steps, each day I went farther. Talk about motivation! Then, once you\'ve gotten motivated, try the equipment that seems like work! |
