its a phone?!? LOL I thought she was just excited to get to shave her legs for the first time. LOL. shows you how our of touch with the world I am...

congratulations on your phone. Just make sure you don't get into too much trouble with it. You are a very lucky girl. Better give mom and dad extra hugs.

hehehe I don't have any kids, but if my yorkies could talk, they would probably have new pink razor phones, too :p

:eek: ummm :rolleyes: mine had 1949 text messages (she's 16)... Thankfully my family plan has unlimted text and picture messaging... :cool:

for you like buying you a razor phone. Don't however be like
my 14 yr. old daughter and abuse the priviledge. I opened
my last phone bill and almost had a heart attack when a
$658.00 was staring me in the face! :eek:

We were paying for our Goddaughter to have a cell phone and her final (notice I said final) bill was $742.15 to the penny:eek: I could have killed her. I had to explain to her that's more than my SUV payment!!!

Anyways sorry to take over your thread.....THATS GREAT about your phone I think they are cool looking, and I sure the Pink one is very stylish;)

11 yrs. old and has a cell phone...... It's so funny how things change. My 10 yr. old cousin has a cell phone also. I thought I was cool when I got a PAGER for my 13th. b-day....LOL..... I don't even think kids know what a pager is now.

He's got one of the pre paid cell phones and has to buy the minutes himself with money from chores or b-day money.

When I was in high school, they were called Car Phones. LOL

I was going to by my sister a cell phone when she was that age because she started going out, and it's a easier way to get ahold of her when I go to pick her up (we had some incidents when she wouldn't be where we told her to be, etc.) Also, w/ family plans and pre-paid phones, it's not all that expensive. My parents did end up buying her a nextel, the most expensive carrier around here, and for me I had to persuade them to get me one when I was 15!

I agree with you, I had to show my parents i was responsible enough. :thumbup:

Well for me it wasn't necessarily showing them, it was more of "Mom I'm not always home, and what if you need to get ahold of me or I need to get ahold of you?" That allowed me to take her cellphone when I was out with my friends, since she only used hers for emergencies anyways.

When I started driving though it became "What if I get stranded, or in an accident.." So she finally bought me one. LOL! My niece is making 12, and she's begging my parents to get her a cell phone! She's 12! She doesn't even know how to drive yet! :rolleyes:

My kids each got a cell phone when they got their drivers license. I told them then they had no excuse for not letting me know if they were going to be late. Bless their hearts neither one of them have ever went over although my youngest one has come pretty close. I have had my razr for a week now and am loving it. Now I am checking out all the cases and stuff that is out there on ebay for it. When I got my first cell phone many moons ago it was huge, and my hubby told me if you go over your minutes then I will take it back. So I was pretty careful. It is amazing how far they have come in the last 15 years.

I got my pink razr from my boyfriend for christmas...at first i loved it but now I wish I would have gotten a different phone because razrs are VERY sensitive and dropping it once totally screwed it up...a piece of the screen chipped off

My BF had one too, and it's way to sensitive.. i dropped my phone (the lg vx9800 in the dogs water bowl.. and it still works perfectly lol).. but his phone dropped it once from the bed to the floor and it's all messed up!! and the screen chipped off too.. :thumbdown

Maybe I have the super razr because I have dropped both of mine soo many times! I had to get a new one a couple of months ago when my first dropped in the toilet..(it took me a minute or two to muster up the courage to fish it out since I hadnt flushed yet! YUCK!)

We looked at carries that sold the razr, and theirs actually another phone from team mobile that is like the razr, but I liked it a lot better. Also, the new hot phone is the pebl by motorola, and I think it's more durable. Just wanted to let you guys know this that wanted the razr. They are nice and skinny though, that's what I like about them :)
