Plastic Surgery? I'm doing a research paper in my sociology class, and I need you guys' help. I'm doing an anonymous survey about plastic surgery. Nothing about you will be used, not even your location. Please vote, and if you feel inclined, reply. Thanks in advance :D |
I had breast augmentation done 2 years ago and am very satisfied. |
i would get my breast done if i had the money |
mine wasn't plastic surgery as such...yet. I broke my nose in a fall and went in to hospital to have it re-straightened, without a new break. It was ok, it is still slightly crooked, but my septum might still be deviated so I may have to have it re-broken. :( but if that looks good i'll let you know! :) |
Well, if I reply nothing will be a secret here now will it? LOL!! I can easily say Schatzie had never had any plastic surgery (just a joke)... However I have 4 years ago. Bad botched job and in fact having surgery again next Friday. (wont be on Yorkie Talk that day for sure!!) What a coincidence that this subject has been brought up. So, NOPE my first experience was a nightmare, would take the doctor to court if I could. Im hoping the "fix" surgery will be a better outcome! |

Thank you PinkMartini! ;) |
I haven't had anything done,, But when the time comes, I would consider an eye job, or an eyebrow lift, I think that makes such a difference, when I see people that have had that done.... Never say Never! :D |
I haven't had anything done yet. But I've told many many people that I will have no problem getting a tummy tuck, or lipo after I have kids. I'm really scared I won't be able to get the weight off! I was joking with a woman I work with and said that I'm going to start one of the Christmas Accounts that the banks will set up for you but use the money for plastic surgery instead. You know, those accounts that take out some money every week and then in a year you have like $500 to go Christmas shopping with. Well it's going to be my plastic surgery account instead. Then in 10 years (or more) I'll be 34 and have like $5,000 to go towards any needed plastic surgery!! :p |
I'm assuming this thread is open to males too,...as it seems females are the only ones who responded thus far. I would consider lipo around my abdominal area. BUT that is only after I have poured blood, sweat, and tears into my workout regimen and cannot achieve what I believe to be possible. (If Brad Pitt (at 42) can bust his butt and look like how he does in Troy...I can too). I'm an extremely firm believer in working out and diet. Obviously, this takes a lot of dedication...but I also realize that some people have a genetic predisposition to never lose fat below a certain threshold. So while I'm open to the idea of surgery...I have to work for it until I truly believe I can't make the goal that I want w/o some "help". Besides my abdominal area...I don't see a need for anything else. I've heard of all sorts of surgeries,...ranging from calf, ab, and butt implants...to your standard face lift, butt lift, etc. |

Yes, i feel men are standing in line for plastic surgery just as much as woman these days. We have a guy friend who works out daily. Weather it be weights or running miles on end he still could never lose those side handles on his waist so he had lipo for that. He looks awesome. He never had any problems with it. His wife had lipo also and looks great. What is odd is both of them in my eyes looked perfect and I couldn't believe ever they needed a thing. I guess we are our own worse critics to ourselves. |
I am definately going to be having plastic surgery in the future. I've lost over 150 pounds and at this point I really would like to have a tummy tuck and breast lift and augmentation. You can't tell I need it with clothes ON, but I know better. Once my weight has stabalized and my husband is in the country, I'll be getting it done. |

Ive had nothing done yet... please not the "yet" lol ... who knows in the future, i never say never :) |
I gotta tell you having had 3 children (ages 4,2 1/2,&10 months) + an 11 yr old i am really considering a tummy tuck. I started a work out regimine and have seen some results but very hard for every thing to go back into place lol. I have to do some major research though because of the horror stories you hear about botched jobs. sue |
I would have a breast lift and a tummy tuck... |
I think i would consider it after having children? Depends on how well my body takes all that in a couple of years! You never can tell. My boyfriends sister in law just had a Baby two weeks ago and is back to her washboard stomach allready! Serisouly she is a lucky woman! However, she does't think so. She said " Oh i just bought these pants and I had to buy a size 9...i can't even get close to fitting in my 2's" I was just thinking yeah I couldnt get my arm into a 2! LOL :D |
Although i am very small, im 21, 4'11" and about 105lbs...my boobs are bigger than most girls my size, and i was always picked on in middle school, because i was told i "stuffed my bra"....even through that...i would def have a boob job, not anything dramatic, but something sutle, i have an obsession with plastic surgery, i watch nip/tuck, and dr 90210 alllll the time, any shows coming on dealing with plastic surgery im so in front of the tv! I would probably do it for the wrong reason, well not that there is a wrong or right reason for it, but i love the fact that i would somewhat be "fake" lol call me crazy, but its just an obession! :p |
Yes I will admit I have had plastic surgery, I had a tummy tuck, and lipo to hips and thunder thighs, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. would love a breast lift, if I can talk hubby into it LOL, LOL, |
I would love implants and lipo if I had the guts |
I have has surgery twice, chest, but wanting 3rd surgery at some point. I would love to have a nose job, but way too afraid of that ;) |
Thanks for the responses everyone. Keep 'em coming :D |
I voted no. I would probably never have surgery. I hate watching it on TV and wonder why these beautiful people are having surgery in the first place. Plus, my mommy ( :) ) is 52 and I think that her smile lines and such give her character. |
Well, only once I am 56 and I have never had any cosmetic surgery. I have given birth to four children and at times have a little bulge at my waist, but when I get with it and work out, it goes. The only part of my body that I have never liked and would consider getting is a butt. Unfortunately, I take after my mom and poor woman had a great shape til she died at 75, but she did not have a butt, and neither do I. So, maybe a butt augmentation, but nothing else. YOu guys can laugh, but I hate wearing pants, because NONE OF THEM EVER FIT RIGHT. |
My motto is if it will make you happy and you can afford it..do it. I had breast lift and reduction..and it was the best thing I could have done for myself.. tummy tuck is next and then I am done ! It is painful so it isnt anything not put alot of thought into. |
In june on 2003 i had VBG with is a vertical banded gastroplasty (weight loss surgery) i would like to get plastic surgery once i have reached my goal weight ...have lost 70, 20 more pounds to go...I would like to get a breast lift, Inner thigh lift, tummy tuck and my arms done...with losing the weight i have extra skin that i would love to get rid of. |
I was raised to play the cards that were dealth to you. Doesn't matter if you are pretty, ugly, fat, skinny or wrinkled. If God wanted you to look different, then he would have done the job Himself. |
Hi Guys I would love to have my bat wings(arms)done I lost 62 pounds and they are really flabby but no money!!!!The story of my life. |
