Can I PLEASE get your opinons as soon as possible! 3 Attachment(s) Im kinda working on a last minute design with a deadline of TOMMORROW  and I really could use ya'lls help with choosing a picture I bought a dog magazine ad and I had planned all along to use the picture of chloe that I have on the top of my website. Well today my husband decides to tell me he cant stand that picture (although he cant exactly tell me why:( ) so now I of course dont feel as confident about it and I am starting to doubt wether its a good picture or not (way to go hubby!). I know the picture is really vibrant but its supposed to be, and hubby did manage to say that he thinks the way she is standing is too uniformed but I think it shows off the entire outfit well, so what do ya'll think? Its the first picture I have posted below. The whole thing about that picture is that I really liked the colors hot pink and green together and the way she is standing allows you to see the entire outfit. BUt anyways I went ahead and took a couple new pictures today to possibly use instead and those pics turned out a little high in contrast which kinda bugs me but my husband likes them better. SO I simply can not make a descision. Im supposed to turn in my ad BY TOMMORROW so I have to finish the design tommorrow morning at the latest. So what do ya'll think? Which pic is your favorite (and why)? Thanks everyone |
i like the middle one. all of them look cute though!! |
I like the last one the most!!!!!!!!!:D |
I totally like the middle one. |
I like the second one and my second choice would be the third one. I don't really like the first one that much. |
I like the last one the most. I think it shows the outfit off good... and the little ribbon. My second choice would be the second. I like the first one... but I like the other ones better. LOL not sure why either! Good luck!:) |
I Liked The Middle One The Most!!! |
I like the second one, and then the third! She is so adorable!!!! Cutie pa tootie!! |
I like the third one the best and the first one the least. The first one she looks unnatural in her position and the green dulls her gold color. JMO |
I like the third and then the second. I think the third looks more energetic than the second. She looks a little stiff or something in the first, almost like a cutout. |
Thanks everyone. I appreciate your opinions. I wish I had asked ya'll this before I made the green pic my header logo on my website a month ago, lol. So should I re-do that? or does it look okay up there for now? (website link is in my signature) |
The last two I like how vibrant the first one is but I agree with your husband! it's so uniformed, whenever I look in a doggy magazine and see a picture like that I think 'that poor dog' She doesn't look happy! the other two make her look really cuuuuute! I kind of like the high contrast, it's more eye catching that way |
:( Guess I'm the only one who picks number 1 I DO think the 2 and 3 are CUTER pix... but your not selling your dog... your selling the dresses and the 1st pix shows the outfit off WAY better. You can look at number on and SEE just how pretty the dress is. On 2 and 3 you see cute dog and are not noticing the dress as much. I also feel the dress ITSELF (imagine the dog gone) ...LOOKS prettier in pix one. In 2 and 3 it's folded and hidden:) |

Thank you so much for your opinion and your reason behind it. Now I see what you and what my hubby was trying to say, lol. All I was really taking into consideration was the vibrant colors which I am a sucker for. |
I like the last one the most. I like her pose in it better. Her hair is done up so cute. Good luck with your ad. |

"OMG LOOK HOW CUTE THAT LOOKS ON THAT PUPPY" (I know I think that all the time and that's one of the reasons I buy it) you see it fits that dog, you see it looks cute... idk, I think the picture is FIRST attracting because the dog is cute and then you notice "hey this is an ad for a website! we should check that out" |
I also think number one because... In 2 & 3 the black of the skirt is dull where in 1 it is deep black.... PLUS the thing I really notice is in 1 you really see the way the waist puffs out and this makes the dress cute. You do see it in 2 & 3 but it stands out in one. And last but not least.. You are RIGHT the pink and green make it pop... and many a people like POP... Plus I would think number 1 would really pop out of a magazine page. Think of it this way... you can see a magazine with a pageful of beautiful girls .. but you are going to NOTICE the one that POPS |
LOL, You guys are making this hard for me again.:D I thought the green and pink would "pop" also. But then some of ya'll convinced me the black pics were "cuter" but I agree they dont show the denim skirt very well. Im back to being lost again :D :D :D |
Hi Shana:D #1 then #2 and then #3!;) |
I like #2 & 3 better because..even though #1 might show the dress better (ant that is what you're selling) #2 & 3 the dog looks more comfortable. The first pic while cute, she does look somewhat stiff, like she doesn't particularly like the dress and #2 & 3 she seems comfortable. I don't buy lots of clothes because I think my dog doesn't like to wear them (and he doesn't) and a pic of a dog that does look not happy to be in the outfit would just confirm my opinion and might make me think twice about buying it. But :D after saying all that, I don't think people are looking at it as hard as we are in trying to give you our opinion, so probably any of the 3 would be fine. Because really all 3 are quite cute and anybody looking at any one of them would say "awwww, how cute" If you're paying for the ad, you should pick your fav..that's my opinion |
I'm not crazy about the first pic (sorry :( ) I like the second the best because it looks the most flattering on her. The third picture has something flopping over her leg and I'm not sure what it is. So, I say, the second! :D |
I will go with my first impression without analyzing it too much. I loved 3 right away when I enlarged it. |
the dog looks beautiful and happy in #3 the outfit in #3 looks twice as nice it shows everything shes HOT |
Definitely Number 2. |
well another thing about the last one.. think about the colour of a magazine WHITE pages, COLOURFUL things all over... The black will most likely stand out and also makes it look NICE, you know kind of like it's a NICER store, (which yours really is...) |

I'm just not crazy about that pic by itself as a portrait. I like the other ones better. ;) |
Gotta Say The Third One Ahhhhh, she looks so cute in the third one, her little personality shines in that one. She looks so relaxed and comfortable in her outfit and I think that helps to sell doggie clothing :) I like the way she is sitting on her side there as if to say,"Isn't this the cutest outfit ever?" Which magazine is your add going to be in? Patti and Baby Blessing |
Hi, I just so happen to be in this area of the forum posting my introduction and there is so much to see here. I would like to say that I do favor the second picture. Your Yorkie is just darling. |
Although I like the colors in #1 and it does show the outfit the best, Chloe does look unhappy and stiff. She is such a cute dog and that photo just doesn't show her personality. I like #3 the best for her face and the way it shows the detail on the shoulder of the top. I, too hesitated to purchase dog clothes because the puppies usually look so unhappy being dressed. If I only see sad looking dogs, I will then pay attention to the clothes, but rarely buy anything. I always look at the details of the cute little photos I see. I think the dog draws them in, then the clothing. Chloe is such a beautiful little girl and full of personality. I would use a photo that shows that more. As far as your website goes, maybe look to get a better photo of Chloe on with the green background. I do really like the color, just not the photo. |
the last one....her head looks much better |
