vainchick5 | 06-13-2006 10:28 AM | Diets are just a fad and don't last long. There needs to be a lifestyle change for good for weight loss to begin. Having June 30th as the deadline is a lot of pressure to put on yourself considering it takes people months to lose weight on a strict diet, with no starches, definetely NO BEER (beer is the enemy of weight loss so maybe you should reconsider and cut it out of your diet, because then you are just back tracking). I had a nutritionist for a long time, because I wasn't eating enough and needed to change my lifestyle to be healthy. You don't need to diet, just eat responsibly and exercise. For example little things you can do:
When ordering a sandwich get no mayo and swiss cheese or provolone cheese (low in fat/carbs).
No whip cream on starbucks and use nonfat or lowfat milk
Drink loads of water instead of soda, juice or BEER..lol
No food other than fruits and veggies past 7pm
snack a lot and have lots of little meals instead of 2-3 big ones
When eating out, avoid the foods that have a lot of cheese, salt, are fried or are fattening.
Instead of eating candy reach for dried fruit or nuts
Instead of chips, eat healthy crackers or natural popcorn
Just some ideas here, good luck. |
